Located in the central region of Vietnam with its five unique global heritage destinations and magnificent natural resources, Hue has great potential in developing its tourism sector, as well as agriculture, industry and sea related sectors. Not only having been successful in developing its infrastructure and a friendly regulatory environment for foreign investors, Hue also owns a rich cultural and historical reserve to facilitate its potential in the tourism industry.

Following speeches of  high level leaders from the Government and Hue province, foreign investors from different sectors were also given the opportunity to share experience in their success in Hue as well as initiating recommendations to further improve the regulatory environment for foreign investment in this province. Entailing these recommendations, Hue is expected to focus its resources to upgrade the capacity and quality of its international airport, strengthen its education sector to further its competent workforce and enhance its healthcare sector to attract foreign investment.

At the conference, Hue also published its list of tourism projects that are calling for foreign investment, held signing ceremony of cooperation contracts between  local and foreign enterprises and conferred investment certificates for projects that have been approved by the local authority.

In order to support EU companies’ access to the Vietnamese market, EVBN works closely with its governmental/provincial partners and will share updated information on investment opportunities in Vietnam.
