The Lifestyle Trade Mission to Vietnam was successfully organized and conducted by the EU-Vietnam Business Network (EVBN) from October 26th to 30th 2015 in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.

EVBN was proud to welcome for this Mission 11 companies from 6 different European Member States (Austria, France, Portugal, Italy, Belgium, United Kingdom), and various branches of the lifestyle and home decoration activity sector: never-seen before floor coverings, wall coverings, interior décor, tapestries, embroideries, exclusive furniture, luxury fake fur collections, etc. The diversity of companies added to the success of the Mission by enriching discussions and exchanges between the participants and with the Vietnamese B2B partners.

Feedback from participating companies during the Lifestyle Trade Mission

Taking part in the EU design trade mission organized by EVBN was a unique opportunity for our company to explore business opportunities in Vietnam and to discover more about the local culture and ways of doing business in a market that is fairly new to us. – Khadidja Thys (Sales Director, Umbrosa)

EVBN inspired us to visit an amazing, up and coming and boyant market. Although presently not an obvious destination for many Europen design companies, Vietnam offers great possibilities and a lot of potential in all interior sectors. The trip was extremely well organised, dynamic and productive thanks to the wonderful EVBN team. – E Yaschuk (Director, Meystyle)

I would like to thanks EVBN team for their great work. The meetings were very interesting and well targeted to My French Room companies. Both HCMC and Hanoi events were well organized, some of the meetings were a bit messed up due to Vietnamese prospects not showing up on time but that is not fault of EVBN, who did their best to accomodate extra meetings when available. We ended up meeting 23 companies instead of the 16 initially planned of the schedule (which is a great news !). I did manage to secure one order for one on my company on the next day meeting the prospect, so that should be good for the future. The hotels were well chosen, high quality and great service. Once again great work and thank you, we hope other ASEAN countries could have the same kind of event. – Benjamin Humblot (Export Manager, My French Room)
