The new Realm of the Sea Emperor Structure Deck is great at Summoning packs of Sea Serpents to the field alongside one another, enabling powerful Synchro Summons and Xyz Summons. But before you can perform any Synchro Summons or Xyz Summons, you’ll need to get a few Synchro Monsters and Xyz Monsters to make an Extra Deck! Here are some Synchro Monsters and Xyz Monsters that you might want to use if you just picked up the new Structure Deck.

Rank 2 Xyz Monsters

It’s easy to get 2 or more Level 2 monsters on the field at the same time thanks to Deep Sea Diva. Deep Sea Diva is a Level 2 monster that can use its effect to Special Summon another Sea Serpent from your Deck. Special Summon the Level 2 Atlantean Pikeman or Atlantean Heavy Infantry, and you’ll instantly have 2 Level 2 monsters on the field! That’ll set you up for the Xyz Summon of a Rank 2 monster.

Deep Sea Diva makes it easy!

You can instantly transform a Deep Sea Diva and its recruit into Gachi Gachi Gantetsu, Daigusto Phoenix, or Shining Elf! You could even use the effect of your Atlantean Heavy Infantry to Summon a 3rd Level 2 monster and then use all 3 to Summon Number 96: Dark Mist.

Level 4 and Level 5 Synchro Monsters

Don’t forget, Deep Sea Diva is a Tuner. That means if you recruit a non-Tuner from your Deck, you can Tune Deep Sea Diva with that monster to perform a Synchro Summon! Tune Deep Sea Diva with Atlantean Heavy Infantry instead of Xyz Summoning, and you can Synchro Summon the Level 4 Armory Arm.

Plus, there are lots of Level 3 non-Tuner Sea Serpents you can Special Summon with Deep Sea Diva. Special Summon Spined Gillman, Lost Blue Breaker, or Atlantean Attack Squad with Deep Sea Diva’s effect and then Tune your 2 monsters together to Synchro Summon a Level 5 Synchro Monster like T.G. Hyper Librarian, Ally of Justice Catastor, or Sea Dragon Lord Gishilnodon.

Don't forget about Synchro Monsters!

Deep Sea Diva isn’t the only Tuner in the Structure Deck, either. Reese the Ice Mistress is also a Level 2 Tuner that can be Tuned with a Level 3 monster to perform a Level 5 Synchro Summon.

Rank 3 Xyz Monsters

You can easily Summon 2 or more Level 3 monsters with your Structure Deck: Realm of the Sea Emperor, and use those monsters to perform a Rank 3 Xyz Summon. Atlantean Marksman is a Level 3 Sea Serpent that Special Summons another Atlantean monster from your Deck whenever it deals damage. Use its effect to Special Summon the Level 3 Atlantean Attack Squad, and then combine Atlantean Marksman with Atlantean Attack Squad to Xyz Summon a Rank 3 monster like Number 30: Acid Golem, Wind-Up Zenmaines, or Number 17: Leviathan Dragon.

It's simple to gather 2 Level 3 monsters together.

Summon 3 Monsters to the Field with Call of the Atlanteans!

You don’t have to limit yourself to Xyz Monsters that use only 2 monsters in their Xyz Summon. Call of the Atlanteans will Special Summon 3 Level 3 or lower Sea Serpents from your Graveyard at once! Use it at the end of your opponent’s turn to Special Summon 3 Level 2 Sea Serpents or 3 Level 3 Sea Serpents, and you’ll be on your way to Summoning Number 96: Dark Mist or Number 34: Terror-Byte in your next Main Phase.

The Realm of the Sea Emperor Structure Deck is powerful on its own, but it gets even stronger if you add in Synchro Monsters and Xyz Monsters. Boost your Structure Deck with an Extra Deck, and show your opponent the might of Atlantis!
