Level 23 Wine Bar

Located on the 23rd floor of the Sheraton Hotel, this bar is far from the highest Ho Chi Minh City bars, but the view here is no less impressive. It is good for either a romantic date or just a night when you want to play hard. From 8 PM there would be a DJ to liven up the atmosphere.

Zuma Vietnam

Another rooftop bar, the Rex Hotel Garden Bar sits on the 5th floor, which allows you to see the Saigon Opera House and the People’s Committee Hall in all their splendor. 

Though on the lower side when it comes to rooftop bars, the open bar makes use of the entire space. Here you’ll find wooden decking, potted plants, and plenty of tables to choose from – hence the name Garden Bar.

But, that’s not all. This rooftop bar also has historical significance. 

During the Vietnam War, it was a favorite hangout for military personnel. “Five o’clock Follies” or nightly war-related briefings were held here at 5 PM.

Saigon Saigon Bar

Air 360 Sky Lounge

This fancy open space bar is another great place to get fantastic views of the city at night. Drinks are expensive, but you pay for the view and atmosphere. Great spot for the luxury traveler. Dress code enforced.

OMG!

Address: Rooftop Silverland Central Hotel, 14 Le Lai Street, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City

This centrally located rooftop bar has a great view of the city at night just next to the Ben Thanh Market. Live DJ music every night.

It has a modern and relaxed décor with both indoor air-conditioned seating and an outdoor area. Happy Hour is from 5 PM – 7 PM.

Pasteur Street Brewing Company

Address: 144 Pasteur Street, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City

Opening hours: 4 PM – 9 PM

Price: VND 50,000 – VND 200,000

This is one of those gems you don’t expect to find in the city. This intimate venue hidden inside an alleyway serves a variety of excellent beers from lagers, stouts, porters, ale to barley.

It can be a bit cramped at times but well worth it. They also serve beer-friendly food.

Sax N’ Art Jazz Club

Address: 28 Le Loi Street, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City

Opening hours: 7 PM – 12 AM (live music from 9 PM)

Price: VND 150,000 – VND 275,000

A small intimate venue with fantastic jazz music. The owner, Mr. Tuan, is a talented sax player. He and his band put their hearts into their music.

Prices are slightly higher than other regular bars, but you pay for the entertainment. Worth going to if you are in Saigon.
