Super Polymerization Targets

Super Polymerization Targets

This is a living document which will receive updates as we get more realistic targets.

Super Polymerization is a powerful board breaking tool. It’s relevance is highly dependent on the current meta and the available targets. Inherently, you’re going at least -1, since you lose 2 cards (Super Polymerization and the discard) but you gain a fusion monster. If you supply a monster to the fusion you going -2. The value of the fusion targets is higher the more generic the materials and the easier it is to summon. For instance, Five-Headed Dragon requires 5 dragon monsters to summon. If your opponent has 5 monsters on the field and they’re all dragons, you probably will win the duel. More likely, given the diverse decks you’ll face, there won’t be 5 monsters on the field and they won’t all be dragons. Hence, your Five-Headed Dragon is taking up Extra Deck space that another monster that’s more likely to see play could occupy.

A monster may appear in multiple sections below because it meets the criteria for more than 1 grouping. Use the table of contents to jump to the section of interest.
