Reddit – Dive into anything

Hi Reddit,

Am currently a student and have been going to the gym regularly for about 4 months (weight training). I’ve noticed the difference but am struggling to get bigger.

I eat whatever there is to eat at home (not the healthiest) and now and then go to takeaways (grilled places only) but I can’t hit my daily caloric surplus for bulking.

The grilled places get me close to my daily goal but buying takeaway as a student everyday cannot be done.

So any advice is welcome on how I can tell reach my daily caloric surplus (roughly 3000 calories).

P.s. am kind of new to Reddit so I don’t know if something like this has been posted before.

EDIT: Thanks for the advice guys very helpful, people can still comment as I’d like to see everyone’s opinion but thanks again to the guys that already have.

Also it’s not that I can’t cook, I actually can it’s just studying 5 days a week and working part-time I don’t always have the time/energy.

Also I wasn’t sure where to post it and cheers to those telling me where this post would have been better suited (still a noob).
