PRTG is amazing!

PRTG is amazing! It offers so many features in terms of what it can monitor. It supports more platforms than I’ve even heard of! In addition to its native sensor support, it offers valuable options for custom sensors (SNMP, custom scripts, REST APIs, etc.). I have recently set up PRTG for high-availability, and the deployment was one of the easiest I’ve done. Plus their HA offering is free!

Honestly, I didn’t even pick PRTG as my org’s NMS solution. I inherited it from my predecessor. Once I became acclimated, I quickly began to use it to monitor EVERYTHING. When my day starts, and I’ve gotten on VPN, the first browser tab I open is PRTG – and it stays open until I log off for the night. I cannot praise this product enough!
