Out Network

Northwestern University’s Out Network Chicago is the campus and clinical affiliate-wide networking group for LGBTQIA+ identified individuals and allies. The group began several years ago informally meeting after work and quickly became a regular social networking group for LGBTQIA+ faculty, staff, students, fellows, and residents on the Northwestern University Chicago campus. Out Network Chicago currently draws participants from the medical school, law school, graduate school, and affiliated hospitals and clinics.

Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Northwestern Medical Faculty Foundation, Northwestern University, Ann and Robert H. Children’s Hospital of Chicago, Shirley Ryan AbilityLab, and OUTLaw support the group’s quarterly meetings. It is our collective hope that providing a sponsorship for faculty, staff, students, fellows, and residents who identify as LGBTQIA+ or allies will ensure that our campus and affiliates have welcoming and inclusive environments.

Our Network sponsors multiple networking and connection opportunities throughout the academic year for members of the Northwestern Chicago campus community.
