Mario Badescu Silver Powder Review

I’ve been using the Mario Badescu Silver Powder for a while now, and I LOVE it. I was using it the other day and I thought back to when I first bought it. I was totally hesitant to make the purchase. It was something different and new to me, I had never seen anything quite like it. I don’t think I’m alone in saying, I absolutely despise spending money on something that turns out to be a complete disappointment. At the time when I was contemplating my purchase, I went online searching for useful reviews, but most of them fell short. What I was hoping this product would do for my skin was, control oil and lesson the appearance of my large pores. However I was seeing that most people where buying this product primarily for issues with blackheads (which was not as much of a concern of mine). So ultimately I trusted the fact that I had yet to be disappointed by a Mario Badescu Product. I took the leap, purchased theSilver Powered and was not left disappointed.

Product Claims to = Remedy blackheads, stubborn clogged pores and excessive t-zone Oiliness with our super- absorbent silver powder.

Directions = Once or twice a week, dip a water-dampened cotton ball into the powder and press on nose, chin or other clogged areas. Remove after 10 minutes with toner or astringent.

Ingredients = Calcium carbonate, kaolin, zinc oxide.

Below you will see a completely un-retouched before and after picture. I hope that the picture adequately shows you how this product works on controlling shine and minimizing pores. I am really happy with the results and continue to make this a part of my weekly skin care routine.

You may notice that in the after photo my skin does look slightly lighter, this is because after removing the powder with toner a thin layer of powder is left behind.

**Tip** I like to apply this product by putting a little of the powder in my hands, adding a few drops of water and applying it to my skin like a typical face mask. It will be more on the liquid side but it dries almost on contact and I think helps get the best overall results.
