Install Microsoft 365 Apps for enterprise on Windows

Purpose of the guide

Allow enabled users to download Microsoft 365 Apps for enterprise and install it on their Windows device.

Prerequisites

To be able to take advantage of Microsoft 365 Apps for enterprise on your Windows device, you need the following prerequisites:

• Own your NetworkID (e.g. [email protected])
• Work or study at a school that is enabled for this servizi or (read the guide ” Who is eligible for Microsoft 365? “)
• Have permission to install programs on your device

Note

The contact person is the IT technician of the office, but in no case will support be given in case of problems during the installation

Download and install

To install the Microsoft 365 Apps for enterprise package on Windows, follow the steps below:

1. Connect to the CERDD servizi page: https: // servizi .edu.ti.ch ;
2. In the menu at the top right, press on “Login” (1) ;
   
3. Enter your “Network ID” (eg [email protected]) and “password” (2) , press “Identify me” (3) to continue;
4. Click “Services” (4) and then “Microsoft 365” (5) ;
5. The login page will be loaded;
6. Enter your NetworkID with password (6) and press “Login” (7) ;
7. In the screen that appears, press “Yes” (8) ;
   
8. Click on “Install Office” (9) and then choose “Office 365 App” (10) ;
9. The download of the program will start automatically, if requested click on save;
10. Access the ” Download ” folder on your PC and run the program you just downloaded ;
11. A security warning will be displayed to which you must answer “Yes” (11) ;
    
12. The installation process will start automatically, wait for it to be completed;
13. Press “Close” (12) ;
    
14. Start ” Word “ ;
15. Click “Login” (13) ;
    
16. Enter the NetworkID (14) (eg [email protected]) and press “Next” (15) ;
    
17. Enter the ” NetworkID password” (16) and press “Login” (17) ;
18. Remove the tick ( 17a ) and press ” No, access this app only ” ( 17b ) to continue;
19. Click “Accept and start Word ” (18) ;
    
20. Select “Office Open XML Formats” (19) and press “OK” (20)
    (Note: this step may not appear);
    
21. Now MS Word has been activated, this also applies to all other associated programs ( Excel , PowerPoint ,…).
