Our indicator lights are advantageous for a variety reasons including ease of installation, durable design, and range of options. What voltages are available?

One of the most important things to consider with indicator lights is the voltages that they can handle. If there is too much voltage or too little voltage, then they will not function properly if at all. It is for this reason that we offer indicator lights in 14-volt, 28 volt, and 125 volt options. These are the most requested voltages our customers ask for. With these three options, you are sure to find the one that best suits the specific needs of your application.

How do I install indicator lights?

Our E3L series indicator lights are designed to be compact and snap easily into place. To install them, the first step is to make sure that the hole is perfectly sized. These lights are built to be installed in a 5/16” diameter hole. You will want to pass the wires through first being careful not to damage the ends. Each indicator light comes with six inch 105°C tinned copper wire leads to make the installation that much easier. With the wires safely passed through the 5/16” hole, you will slide the body of the indicator light into the hole until it snaps into place. Now, just apply the spring clip to the back of the light body to make sure that it says in place. All that is left to do is properly wire up the light and you are done.

How do I select the correct indicator lights for my project?

The selection process begins with determining the function of your lights. If you need indicator lights for activation identification you will likely want a different color then if you only want to identify a malfunction in your system. Once you know what your function will be, the next step is to determine the voltage requirements for your specific application. As we said above, with 14 volt, 28 volt, and 125 volt options available you are sure to find the indicator lights that suit your needs. With the voltage chosen, all that is left to do is to decide on the color you want. We offer our indicator lights in red, green, blue, and amber.
