Dentsu Aegis Network Hong Kong splits offerings into two business lines
Dentsu Aegis Network (DAN) Hong Kong has announced a new business model, streamlining its network’s offerings into two creative and media lines of business.
The creative line of the business will focus on delivering brand and experience transformation. Isobar is being positioned as a global experience agency while the newly launched Dentsumcgarrybowen is being positioned as a global creative agency.
Current managing director of Isobar Hong Kong David Jessop (pictured second to left) has stepped up to become CEO of Isobar Hong Kong. In his latest position, Jessop will be aiming the leverage his team’s experience and expertise to design frictionless commerce solutions. He will also co-chair the creative line of business alongside Simone Tam (pictured second to right), CEO of Dentsumcgarrybowen group Hong Kong.
“This new model allows us to take the relationships we have to a deeper level. It expands the canvas of creativity with data-led insights and tech-enabled experience design. A combined talent with an aligned vision to win in the experience economy. We look forward to entering this new journey with our clients and partners,” said Jessop.
The media line of business brings together Carat, Dentsu X, Vizeum, iProspect, and Amnet. Lawrence Yang (pictured right) will play a dual leadership role as CEO of the media line of the business and as CEO of iProspect Hong Kong, leading the media brands to deliver data-driven and transaction-enabled media solutions.

Reporting to Pauline Chu (pictured left), CEO of DAN Hong Kong, this new executive line-up is tasked to build the strategic value propositions for the network’s creative and media offerings, as well as the broader portfolio strategy to accelerate business growth and transformation.
“We are introducing new ways of working by bringing together collective minds in the simplest form. The launch of our lines of business marks a powerful commitment to our transformation agenda. Our clients will benefit from the access to a seamless set of expertise in experience, CRM, media, technology, and data in the most efficient ways,” Chu said.
