Dab Rigs – The Dab Lab

Dab rigs, or vapor rigs, are water pipes designed for vaporizing dabs (oil extracted from a plant). Typically dab rigs are much smaller than water pipes designed for smoking herbs. Vaporizing dabs is much smoother than smoking herb, so less diffusion is required. But for those of you who want a heavily diffused dab rig, we have those too. You can find dozens of vapor rigs in every shape and size imaginable here at The Dab Lab. With so many options it can be tough to decide which one to get! Here are some things to consider when choosing a new dab rig.

Dab Rigs Price

Dab Rigs Size

Yes, most dab rigs are smaller, but it’s not a hard and fast rule. We carry a recycler rig that is 15” tall! It’s all about what you want. We carry everything from pocket size travel rigs to large desktop dab rigs. Use the “filter” option to specify a height range you prefer.

Diffusion

You don’t need a lot of diffusion for dabs. A simple multi-hole percolator does a great job and is often preferred. But for larger dabs (globs) more diffusion might be necessary. Recyclers create a fair amount of diffusion and are one of the most popular styles of dab rigs. Use the “filter” option to specify a type of preferred percolator / function. Dab rigs come in many shapes & colors. Pick something unique that fits your personality. You can use the “filter” option to designate between clear or colored rigs. If you already have a nail, consider getting a rig with a slide so you have the option to use it to smoke herbs too. You can always get a nail separately, but if you are cost conscience you might want to get a vapor rig that comes with a quartz nail already.
