Cheap Thrill

In March of 2013, formed from a collaboration of solo artist Brandon Gibbs (Devil City Angels) and members of the band CINDERELLA, Cheap Thrill started out hitting venues in the Midwest mainly as a side project to simply get out and play a Modern Mix of Rock N Roll, Classic Rock and original material from the catalogs of the band’s members.

This so-called “side project” started to gain steam getting bookings not only in some of the great Rock N Roll Venues of America, but festivals, the acclaimed MORC, Cruise to the Edge, The Moody Blues Cruise as well as a full European Tour in 2014 of 20 dates.

CHEAP THRILL’s version of the Rolling Stones classic “Can’t Always Get What You Want” was quoted by Burlington Hawkeye Newspaper, June 14, 2013 as “One of the best things Steamboat Days has seen in its 51 years!”  Lead Singer, Guitarist and Founding Member Brandon Gibbs song “This Town” was featured on ESPN2’s NHRA broadcasts for 2012, 2013 & 2014.

Recently, as on the Rock Cruises, CHEAP THRILL stripped down for a “live acoustic” performance to help raise funds for the “Justa Center”, a foundation dedicated to helping homeless veterans in and around the Phoenix, AZ region.  The band thrives on its full live shows, performing on the biggest of stages such as the Steamboat Days festival stage, or stripping down to an intimate acoustic performance that could easily take place in someone’s living room, and everywhere in between!

With CHEAP THRILL, you’ll get a good ole’ fashioned Rock N Roll show, songs from all eras, as well as music from the members of the band. You’ll also get more; you’ll get an interaction not quite seen in many rock shows. “The crowd is a fifth member of the band, and we always ensure the crowd has a great time and leaves the show feeling like they got something more than what they ever expected”
