BBA in Business Economics

Economics is poised on the intersection between social science and business, and has a great relevance for a wide range of public policy issues. The business economics program combines the study of both economics (the scientific study of how society manages its scarce resources) and business, providing a strong theoretical and professional combination. Traditional economics courses prepare students to collect and analyze data, monitor economic trends and develop forecasts, which are essential to the ability of business firms to maximize profits and provide the quantity of goods or services that consumers will demand at a certain price. The program includes basic courses in all business disciplines as well as in economics, general education requirements, career exploration and development.
