Man what a nice looking bass! Glarry’s quality control is improving drastically. I got this in today and did a quick inspection. The frets edges were the smoothest I’ve felt on any Glarry bass so far. The finish was perfect. Another thing I checked was the area where the neck meets the body. Sometimes there are spaces where it does not fit well. This was not the case here! It fit perfectly. The fret-board looks and feels very nice.

The frets edges were the smoothest I’ve felt on any Glarry bass so far. The finish was perfect. Another thing I checked was the area where the neck meets the body. Sometimes there are spaces where it does not fit well. This was not the case here! It fit perfectly. The fret-board looks and feels very nice.

The only cons are mainly the gig bag and accessories. The bag is more of a dust cover, no padding at all. The accessories are two wrenches to adjust the truss rod and action. And a non padded strap. There is also a cord for connecting to your amp. I”d probably replace these last two and maybe the bag with something a little better. But I understand to keep the cost of this bass down you’re not getting the best accessories money can buy. Overall this is a nice bass.

The odd shape is actually smaller and more comfortable than I thought it would be. The neck is more of a D shape. Not too thick but could be a little thinner. The strings are OK but I’d replace them with some better ones. The pickups sound nice and overall I’m happy with this purchase. I’d highly recommend it for the beginning bassist or anyone that just wants something a little different.
