A week after receiving pre-orders for the Evo200 electric motorcycle, VinFast has officially handed over the first cars to customers.

VinFast Evo200 has 2 versions, Evo200 and Evo200 Lite, of which the Evo200 has a maximum speed of 70 km/h while the Evo Lite limits the speed to 49 km/h – more suitable for students.

This is considered a model that owns many “firsts” in the product range of VinFast. Specifically, this is the model with the softest price (22 million VND, without battery), and the longest range (up to 205 km for a single charge) in this year’s product range.

This is also the first car in the price segment of VND 20 million equipped with LED headlights with projector bulbs for high lighting efficiency. The car is also IP67 waterproof with the ability to wade in the water to a depth of 50cm for 30 minutes.

According to a representative of VinFast, Evo200 is in a new product group designed by a team of Vietnamese engineers, instead of outsourcing design like some previous models. The company has also conducted a variety of market research and consumer behavior research activities to include the most relevant features in the Evo200.

The car is also equipped with intelligent connectivity and control via the VinFast e-Scooter application on the phone with the features of displaying vehicle status, locating the vehicle, and automatically diagnosing faults.

Evo200 is sold for 22 million VND, with a battery rental policy including 2 fixed packages (350,000 VND/month, unlimited km) and a flexible package (189,000 VND/month with a travel distance of 500 km/month, each additional kilometer pays 374 VND). The fee for switching subscription packages is 600,000 VND/time.

If you want to buy a battery pack for the car, you have to spend an additional 19.9 million VND.

VinFast said it tries to create a neutral car, suitable for many different customer groups. Evo200 is suitable for a whole group of users who are schoolchildren, students, housewives on the street or men with coffee, etc…

The car uses a 40W charger (included with car purchase), charging from 20 to 100% in 8 hours, and 0 to 100% in 10 hours. If you want to shorten the charging time to 4 hours, you will have to buy a 1000W charger.

According to VinFast, the car reaches a maximum range of 205 km for a single charge of km / h if moving at a constant speed of 30. If the acceleration is higher, this range will be reduced. However, in actual testing in many different conditions, the car still gives a range of about 150 km.
