What Is a Rechargeable Fan? (with picture)
Are any of you out there aware you can buy a rechargeable fan that is also an AM/FM radio? A friend just told me about them. I am looking for a fan for my nightstand, and this sounds like a good way to save space. I will have my radio and fan all in one.
I have heard some people say that the power packs for some of the poor quality rechargeable fans are unreliable. You may have the batteries charging for several hours only to find out they are dead when you are ready to use them. I can’t say for certain because I have never owned one, but this is something you might want to look out for. I imagine the higher quality fans are less likely to have glitches like this.

My house is cooled totally by fans. I have ceiling fans and I use box fans, window fans and pedestal fans throughout the house. With all of the trees around the house, the fans are able to keep me cool even during the warmest days of summer.
The only time I have any complaints about is when the power goes out. We have thunderstorms almost every evening and the power will go out now and then. Sometimes I am without electricity for a couple of hours or more. Since all of my fans are electrical and need the power to be on to work, the house warms up and becomes too warm sometimes during the storms.
If I could get a couple of these battery powered fans to use only when I am without power this would make a big difference. I’m assuming they work as well as what I am using now.
