How to set up Meta Business Suite
To get started with Meta (Facebook) Business Suite, you’ll first need a Facebook account linked to your business email. You can set one up by navigating to business.facebook.com and clicking on “Create an account.” If you already have a Facebook account, follow the instructions below to add pages, ads, and people to your Meta Business Suite.
Add pages to Meta Business Suite
- Once you’re logged in to Meta Business Suite, scroll down to the Pages section and click on “Go to business settings.”
- Click the “Add” button, and then select “Add a Page.”
- Start typing the name of your business page and select it when it appears in the drop-down menu. You must be an admin of the Page in order to add it to Meta Business Suite.
- A new window with a green checkmark will appear. Click “Close” and the page should now appear in your Pages section.
Add ad accounts to Meta Business Suite
- Once you’re logged in to Meta Business Suite, open up the “Business settings” panel and click on “Ad accounts.”
- Click the “Add” button, and then select “Add an ad account.”
- Enter your ad account ID and select “Add ad account.”

Add people to Meta Business Suite
- Once you’re logged in to Meta Business Suite, open up the “Business settings” panel and click on “Users.” Then select “People” from the drop-down menu.
- Click the “Add” button.
- Type in one or more email addresses for the employees you’d like to invite to Meta Business Suite. Select the Business Role you want to assign them.
- Admin Access = This includes full access to your Meta Business Suite, just like your access.
- Employee Access = This limits a person’s access to specific accounts and tools. Facebook recommends this access level.
- Finance Analyst and Finance Editor are two additional levels of access for accounting team members, available by clicking on “Show Advanced Options.”
- Once you’ve granted Employee Access, the following page screen will allow you to grant access to specific assets (such as your Facebook Pages, Instagram profiles, ad accounts, or pixels) and tasks related to those assets (such as managing ads, responding to messages, or creating posts for the page). You can toggle on or off to grant or restrict access to a particular asset or task. When you’re done, click the “Invite” button.
- A new window with a green checkmark will appear. Click “Done” or click “Add more people if you want to invite more employees to Meta Business Suite.
