Universal Studios Discounted Tickets

In 1993 when we first started selling discount theme park tickets to Universal Studios, for every 20 Discount Disney tickets we sold, we would sell 1 Universal Studios Orlando tickets. In the mid 2000’s when Harry Potter World opened at Islands of Adventure, this was a game changer here in Orlando. Currently, for every 10 Orlando theme park tickets we sell, 6 of them are for Disney World and 4 of them are for Universal Studios.

It is going to be interesting what Disney World is going to do in 2024 when Universal Studios plans to open the new virtual reality theme park called Nintendo Land. This will mark the first time Universal Studios will surpass Disney as the main attraction in Orlando.

Over the years, the Universal Studios ticket prices have gone up quite dramatically. Currently the one-day price of a Universal Studios theme park ticket is fluctuates between $109 and $154 per day per adult. The higher the demand the higher the ticket prices.

In January 2000, the price for a one-day ticket to Universal Studios Orlando was just $46. This was a $2 increase per day from the previous year. The average ticket price in 2023 is $131 when you compare this to the $46 in 2000, this is a 284% price increase in just 23 years.
