2022-2023 Educational Equity Leadership Series

This unique, virtual learning series is designed to increase capacity for racial equity leadership among Wisconsin educators. Through an experiential learning strategy, the Education Equity Leadership Series supports a learning environment suited for authentic self-reflection and engagement, while exploring the application of “difficult conversations” about race, equity, inclusion, and oppression. The holistic learning approach captures advanced racial literacy content embedded within a local lens in order to be responsive to the communities we serve. Participants are challenged to understand the dynamics of race and racism in education, as well as other forms of exclusion/oppression.

There are NO registration fees to participate in these events. A scholarship, funded through the Individuals with Disabilities Education Improvement Act (IDEA), has been applied to the administrative and instructional fees. This series is guided by feedback and input from the Equity Advisory Workgroup.
