We are looking for a highly motivated Business Analyst to work
closely with engineering, supply chain, and finance teams to analyze
engineering software requirements and optimize software-related impact while
ensuring engineering requirements are met.
As a Technical Business Analyst, you will have a significant
contribution to increasing the speed at which engineering can
innovate.  Your work will have a direct impact on Tesla’s ability to
scale across multiple design offices and manufacturing facilities while
continuing to innovate our products and processes.

Responsibilities

You will work cross-functionally with Engineering, Supply Chain,
and Finance teams to:
·       Analyze Engineering Requirements
o   Coordinate with the different stakeholders to conduct
requirement analysis
o   Support engineering in identifying the business needs, their
priority, impact, and urgency
o   Understand existing software tools and their functionalities
and drive software consolidation, wherever possible.
 ·       Evaluate commercial software
solutions
o   Collaborate with the supply chain team to identify the
acceptable commercial terms
o   Co-ordinate with engineering stakeholders to establish
evaluation criteria
o   Coordinate with the Design Technology team, its partners, and
software vendors to ensure all prerequisites are in place prior to
software evaluation
o   Create usage models to support global purchasing teams in
licensing model selection
o   Engage with the mergers and
acquisitions team to support the integration of newly acquired companies

Requirements

·       Familiarity with engineering
software used for simulation, design, and PLM.
·       2-3 years experience in a relevant
field.
·       Ability to independently research
problem areas, facilitate meetings and decision-making processes
·       Solid organizational skills
including attention to detail and multitasking.
·       Ability to work cross functionally

·       Excellent written and verbal
communication skills

· BA/BS in engineering, Business, or related technical field.· Familiarity with engineering software used for simulation, design, and PLM.· 2-3 years experience in a relevant field.· Ability to independently research problem areas, facilitate meetings and decision-making processes· Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking.· Ability to work cross functionally
