Reddit – Dive into anything

I am trying to connect to my friend’s Minecraft server via Logmein Hamachi. However, whenever I enable the Hamachi network adapter, it immediately disconnects my wireless network connection. Upon disabling it, I get my internet connection back. This is especially concerning because I’ve used Hamachi before on this same computer for the same purpose several months ago and it worked just fine (I’ve since uninstalled and then re-installed a newer version of Hamachi).

I can get onto Hamachi by powering it on, which enables the Hamachi adapter/disconnects my wireless, then disabling the Hamachi adapter, giving me back my internet. Of course, that creates errors. Next to the names of other people in my Hamachi networks is an error symbol which indicates a tunneling problem. Looking at the properties indicates a VPN status error. Settings show a network adapter error (“failed to connect to the network adapter”).

I’ve already messed with the ordering of the adapters (which were already in the right order). I also tried the “route delete 0.0.0.0 IF 31” command from the command line with no effect.

I’m using Windows 7 on a 32-bit system.

Is there anything I can do to keep Hamachi from disconnecting my internet?
