Reddit – Dive into anything

Hi everyone, I’m around 21 y/o, around 5’9” and I weight around 170. I’m trying to bulk and look for some suggestions for my bulking diet plan:

Supposedly I’m supposed to eat around 170g of protein per day, and I’m looking at around 3200-3500 calories. Here’s my current meal plan:

Meal 1 (Breakfast):

  • 5 scrambled egg whites and 1 whole egg (300 calories, 60g protein)

  • 1/2 berries of blueberries (42 calories)

  • 1/2 cup of strawberries (16 calories)

  • 1 cup of oatmeal (320 calories, 8g protein)

Meal 2 (Breakfast-Lunch):

  • 1 cup of Chobani yogurt (140 calories, 10g protein)

Meal 3 (Lunch):

  • 1 potato (110 calories)

  • 2 cups of broc**** (110 calories)

  • 8oz chicken breast (380 calories, 70g protein)

Meal 4 (Lunch-Dinner):

  • 1 cup of almonds (830 calories, 30g protein)

  • 1 banana (100 calories)

Workout

Meal 5 (Dinner):

  • 1 cup of rice (200 calories)

  • 8oz steak (420 calories, 46g protein)

  • 2 cups of spinach and kale mix (20 calories)

Meal 6 (Post Dinner)

  • 2 scoops of protein (shake) (240 calories, 50g protein)

I’m currently at around:

Protein: 300g (too much) Carbohydrates: 270g Fat: 130g Sodium: 3000mg (pretty high I think)

I think I’m way too high on my protein and my sodium. Not sure about the other ones. Can anyone shed some light on this? Feel free to suggest food replacements, additions, or deletions. Thanks!
