Reddit – Dive into anything
I’ve been playing Tekken 7 for two years now on Xbox One/PS4 dpads and I’ve had enough – I main Akuma and the execution requirements coupled with the game’s silly input buffering drives me crazy – I always drop combos and misinputs come out all the time.
I’ve played most other fighting games on a keyboard – my main one was KoF XIII and I could do all the crazy shit you’d see in combo videos, with little to no mistakes, so when I heard that a mixbox exists I was ecstatic – keyboard sucks for Tekken and it’s not tournament legal either.
However, shelling out over $300 for a version that works with both PC and PS4 seems a bit…insane to say the least. I’m also not interested in a hitbox because of the awkward jump button placement – WASD for me is best. As such:
Are there any cheaper mixbox alternatives or do you have any advice/documentation on making my own?
Thank you!
