From wanting to be too many things to finding her passion in technology sales and leadership, RMIT University Bachelor of Business (Business Admin) graduate Celine Siow’s journey has not been linear.
Before graduating in 2005, Celine admits she wasn’t the best student in her early days.
It was a leap of faith – a role in Sales Support in Singapore – that propelled her into a career that now spans 20 years.
When promoted to a leadership role in her late 20s, Celine had to overcome imposter syndrome and learn from others how to be a better leader.
“I constantly felt I wasn’t enough, or that it was too early.”
“The steep learning curve meant early mornings and late nights to get better so I could be that leader to somebody, only to realize a little later that a leader surrounds themselves with the right people – people who have skill sets and talents to complement yours.”
Over the last 12 years, Celine has found her passion in helping technology companies build and grow their Asia Pacific business.
“Growing a business is immensely rewarding, but what gave me the most satisfaction was the ability to help individuals in their personal and professional development.”
Currently Celine is VP of WW Partners & APAC Sales at Sonar, a software company based in Geneva, Switzerland.
“I was tasked to help them build out their global partner ecosystem and the Asia Pacific Regional Office in Singapore. I am excited about building a strong cultural identity in this current organization and supporting the growth journey of each individual!”
