** The Pi Cryptocurrency Rewards described above, and which are being made available to Hackathon developers, will come out of the reserve set aside for “supporting community organization and ecosystem building,” as explained in the updated Pi whitepaper chapters released on December 28, 2021. More information on how it works will follow in a separate announcement. Pi Community Company (the “Company”) reserves the right to terminate any and all Pi Cryptocurrency Rewards at any time, and in its sole and absolute discretion, with or without cause, and with or without notice to participants in the Hackathon.

Pi Cryptocurrency Rewards will only be issued to teams/participants that agree and execute the Company’s Token Acknowledgement Agreement, and any other agreements required by the Company at the time of issuance. Pi Cryptocurrency does not currently have any value beyond its use and utility within Pi Network, and is not tradeable on any exchange. The issuance of Pi Cryptocurrency rewards to team/participants shall be subject to applicable restrictions, including, but not limited to lockup periods, as determined in the sole and absolute discretion of the Company at the time of issuance. Failure by a team/participant to agree to the above terms and conditions of Pi Cryptocurrency issuance, or to execute all agreements as required by the company, shall constitute a forfeiture of any Pi Cryptocurrency rewards otherwise payable to such team/participant as set forth above.
