Network
In 2020 the National Laboratory Directors’ Council (NLDC) expanded the Oppenheimer program by unanimously approving the creation of the Oppenheimer Leadership Network (OLN).
The OLN is chartered by the NLDC as a formal network of Oppenheimer alumni to collaboratively engage on strategic issues and produce deliverables to further the mission of OSELP and address major organizational, policy, scientific, or other challenges within National Labs’ mission space. The OLN serves as an intellectual resource that supports the current leadership teams in stewarding the DOE National Laboratory complex into the future.
Dr. Wendy Shaw (PNNL, Cohort 4) serves as the OLN Chair. Dr. Kate Anderson (NREL, Cohort 5) serves as the OLN Vice-Chair. Prior OLN leadership includes Dr. Ilke Arslan (past Chair and Vice-Chair, ANL, Cohort 3) and Dr. Thomas Kirchstetter (past Chair, LBNL, Cohort 3).
Membership in the OLN is open to OSELP alumni. Inquiries about the OLN can be directed to the OLN Chair or the OSELP Director, Kevin Doran, using the contact form on this website.
