NEW IN | Adidas Superstar | Denise Joanne

After weeks and weeks of searching, I finally managed to get myself a pair of the insanely famous Adidas Superstar sneakers! Taking pictures of these beauties is so much fun, so prepare for lots of shots!

My life is complete – for now! Knowing me I’ll have another shoe crush in no time.. But for the time being, these babies are my new loves! I don’t know about the rest of the world, but here in the Netherlands it’s currently extremely difficult to get your hands on a pair of Adidas Superstars! I’m actually pretty scared to wear them too much, because I don’t want them to get dirty. They’re so bright ‘n white, it’s stunning! They even make my whitest shirts look creamy.

Yes, I know. These shoes are actually old news right now, since Adidas just launched the new Superstar collection in collaboration with Pharell Williams (I like to call them 50 shades of Superstar!). Even though those are really cool, I’ve been wanting these white ones ever since the second announcement, so I felt I should get these instead of the newer ones.

Comfort

Anyone who has ever worn these shoes knows that they’re very comfortable to walk in. They have built-in cushions that make you feel like you’re walking on clouds!

Sizing

I’ve heard people say that they fit true to size, while others are saying they needed at least one size bigger or smaller. I’d say they have a big fit. I have a size 38(EU), which is usually my go-to size, but I would’ve liked them a bit smaller. Maybe a 37 2/3 or 37 1/3 would’ve fit me better. Unfortunately, I didn’t have a choice since they’re so high in demand right now. I was glad to see a size 38 available and when they turned out a tad too big I decided to keep them anyway. I’d rather have them a bit too big than have nothing at all!

Overall I think these are great shoes. They look amazing and they really fit the minimalistic black & white trend that has been going on lately. Definitely a catch!
