1. Before you join a rally or reinforce a player being rallied, MAKE SURE YOU ARE PREPARED to take a rally or get hit yourself.

 2. Always run Anti Scout, always. That alone can save your ASS from a hit

 3. Equip war gear BEFORE you port in. Again, this is a deterrent and can save your Ass.

 4. If you are small enough, shelter/fake rally troops while sending reinforcement/rally troops.

5. If you are in a pinch, caught with fury and have too many troops to empty your castle, you have 2 options;

(A) Hide the troops you can and take a loss on the rest.

(B) Ask for reinforcements to take the rally
