Lords Mobile Beginner’s Tips and Tricks Guide | BlueStacks
Lords Mobile is a strategy game from IGG. One of the main aims of the game is to offer up lots to do. The problem quickly becomes, exactly what do you do when you’re first starting out and after the tutorial is completed?!! It’s not like you want to just jump in and end up getting hammered on!! Your main aim as a new/beginner player is to build up as quickly as possible. The main way to do this is to keep busy as much as possible. So here’s a collection of tips and tricks to help you out with various aspects of the game.
Mục Lục
The VIP system
Lords Mobile, like many other games has a VIP system. The more VIP points you build up, the higher your VIP level can be. The higher your VIP level, the more bonuses you’ll gain. Do note that there are more bonuses than what’s showing in the screen shot below for the current VIP level.
As of this writing, the VIP level is at 6. It only took 2 days (not THAT many hours each day!!) to get to VIP level 5. It’s surprisingly easy to do!! So how do you gain the points to get to higher VIP levels quickly? The initial method is using gems.
When you click the Get Points button, you can use your gems to buy VIP points. When you’re first starting out, you’ll be given gems as a reward. You’ll also gain gems when you join a guild. In total for the 2, you can get to VIP level 5 pretty quickly. One of the more important parts of having a higher VIP level is the Free Acceleration time bonus. When you’re doing construction and/or research, there’s a set amount of time the timers have to reach before you can freely “instant complete” the task. For example, a construction takes 1 hour to complete. At VIP level 1, as soon as the construction timer gets down to 5 minutes or less, you can click the button and the construction is done on the spot. At VIP 6, as soon as the construction timer gets down to 15 minutes or less, you can instantly complete it. It will increase with VIP levels.
Another method to gain VIP points is to simply log into the game each day.
As showing in the above screen shot, you’ll gain VIP points each consecutive day you log in. From there, it’ll increase the next day.
The Guilds
Once you gain enough account levels, and when you’re starting out it is pretty easy, you’ll be able to either join a guild or make one. The fun part is that making a guild doesn’t cost you anything. However, you might want to consider trying to join a guild if you don’t feel like managing one!!
Being in a guild has its advantages!! The first would be the Helping system (third tab down on the right).
In the upper right corner is the amount of Guild Coins you can gain each day and how many you’ve gained so far. Whenever you see someone requesting help, do yourself a huge favor and help them!! It’s a one button click (Help All) even when you see multiple requests. Keep in mind, other guild members would be wise to help as many members as possible on any given day. Once you’ve built up enough Guild Coins, it’s time to go shopping!!
As mentioned above, the initial method to gain VIP points is to use gems. The other method is to use Guild Coins. Of course, they’re your Guild Coins so you can spend them however you like. The recommendation is between VIP points and Speed Ups. You should avoid using gems and Guild Coins to buy resources.
Resources
It’s not only keeping your resources at the right amounts, it’s also a matter of not overdoing it. There are a few factors to consider so you’re landing just right. When you look at the main screen as showing below, you can see the currently available resources in the upper right corner.
You will be using these to build, do research, and pretty much get everything paid for in Lords Mobile. Your initial sources of resources are from specific buildings and their upgrades. The other source is in the open fields where you can send your forces to gather resources. Base this resource gathering on whichever resource has the least amount and then on which ones you need. Another source is rewards. If your forces are not busy (needed for a skirmish for example), send them all. This will give you the biggest gains from each gathering trip. So plan those trips so you can keep busy with your heroes in other parts of the game too such as the Heroes Assault section. Keep enough heroes to be able to play that at the same time.
Each tab in the Quest section gives resources to various extents depending on what the reward is from. Basically, the Quest section of Lords Mobile is a big giveaway for simply playing!! Speaking of giveaways, if you look at the main screen shot above in the bottom right area you’ll see the Mystery Box. Once its timer runs out, you’ll gain more resources which are sent to your inventory (The Bag).
When you’re in the Bag, don’t forget to check for boxes in the Chest tab. The Resource tab will have those extra rewards you gained. So whenever you see the resource icon(s) moving to the bottom right of your game screen, this is where they’ll be. The nice part is that any resources which are still in your bag will remain there even if you get attacked.
The other way to protect your resources if you get attacked is to have a high level vault.
As showing above, the vault keeps a certain amount of your resources safe. The higher the level of the vault, the more resources will be protected.
To check your resource limits, simply check your castle.
Yes, you can massively overshoot the displayed resource limits. Yes, this does make us all wonder why they’re there!! Keep in mind that your resource limits are NOT based on your castle level. They’re based on your production building levels.
Just don’t overshoot your vault limits. One of your absolute best defenses against an attack is to make sure EVERY attacker leaves with nothing or close to it. Even if you lost troops, most attackers won’t even bother you if there’s nothing to gain. Well, that is IF they had any common sense they wouldn’t bother to attack you!!
Building and Upgrading
The whole game is based on building and upgrading as quickly as you can. For this you’ll need the Speed Ups.
You can only build or upgrade things one at a time. So in order to not take all century, you have a variety of different speed ups. As showing above, the standard speed ups can help you with building upgrades, research, troop training, and pretty much anything. Just be sure NOT to go hog wild with them. Even though you can gain standard speed ups by using Guild Coins (basically for free), that doesn’t mean you want to rampage through them!! Each time a guild member helps you, it reduces the completion timer for whatever you’re upgrading and/or researching. You can also gain various speed bonuses from Research and from Talents (each time you level your account). The better bet is to aim for a “happy medium”. Go for a nice blend of speed ups and other bonuses from Research and Talents. Once you have higher levels of speed ups from Research and Talents, you might not need the standard speed ups as much. At the same time, you didn’t let other aspects of the game sit around and collect dust!!
We hope this guide did a good job of getting you excited about the game. So what are you waiting for?
