International Business Major | Xavier University
Program Details
In today’s connected world, business and commerce have emerged as the world’s universal language. As a student in Xavier’s international business major, you’ll gain the practical knowledge and cross-cultural skills needed to pursue global career opportunities in business, commerce, trade, government and non-government organizations (NGOs).
In this major, you’ll take a sequence of core courses (International Marketing, International Management, and International Finance) and choose one focus area (Marketing, Management, Economics & Finance, or Sustainability). You’ll also complete a minor in a second language and engage in a semester-long study abroad program. Students in the program may choose to double major in any functional area of business in lieu of completing the focus area.
Xavier University, located in Cincinnati, Ohio, is nationally recognized as a top university by U.S. News & World Report, The Princeton Review and Forbes. 98 percent of our students, including those in the international business major, are working, volunteering or in graduate school within six months of graduation (Class of 2021).
