Affairs and the participation of representatives of business leaders and
18 southern provinces, representatives of the Foreign Affairs
Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Leadership Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Germany and Leadership German
Business Association in Vietnam has signed a memorandum of cooperation.
The signing of the MOU is a practical activity of the Ministry of
Foreign Affairs in order to connect the local with German firms in the
bilateral relations between Vietnam and Germany have developed a special
step.
In
2011, Vietnam Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung and Prime Minister of
German Chancellor Angela Merkel agreed to establish relations “strategic
partnership” and strengthening economic ties between the two countries
in the “Hanoi Declaration” . Germany
is a key strategic partner and support Vietnam’s interests in the
European Union (EU), and is the largest trade partner of Vietnam in the
EU. Bilateral trade in 2014 reached nearly 8 billion Euros and trade growth has averaged 15-20% in the past 5 years ..
Chamber
of Industry and Commerce of Germany in Vietnam (GIC / AHK Vietnam)
always support the promotion of bilateral trade between Vietnam and
Germany. More
than 20 years in Vietnam with the team of professionals with years of
experience as well as knowledge about Vietnam market, GIC / AHK
Vietnam’s partner companies in Germany and Vietnam in the process of
market entry , find partners, customers or investment research.
German
Business Association in Vietnam (GBA) – established in 1995, is the
agency to protect the interests of the business community and German
investors in Vietnam, helping to foster economic relations bilateral society between the two countries. GBA
is one of the business associations oldest senior, is a member
co-founder of the European Chamber of Commerce (EUROCHAM) in Vietnam. Currently,
the GBA has been representing more than 180 member businesses and
activities as a business environment as well as the best operating
conditions for businesses and investors in the country Germany. GBA legal assistance for member businesses, help optimize the economic
data less useful in Vietnam and establish new relationships with local
communities.
This agreement contributes to strengthening the promotion of trade and investment; promoting business, trade and investment in the local German of Vietnam. Both
sides strive towards establishing relationships and effective
assistance to local governments, especially those related local
information directly, while supporting local governments implement policies to facilitate establishing efficient business environment for German firms.
This agreement aims to create a channel support German businesses expressed concerns to the central authorities and local; local support to find suitable cooperation partners in Germany and a chance to showcase the local Vietnam to Germany. Next time, the Department of Foreign Affairs (Foreign Ministry) will
coordinate with the GBA and GIC / AHK organize regular workshops,
seminars, conferences and forums for German enterprises in the locality.
