The Hyundai County was designed by the Hyundai Motor Company’s Jeonju design center and was built from 1998.

Exterior

The Hyundai County has a big body structure which makes it withstand the necessary load and also able to carry the capacity of passengers it is designed to.

The exterior has a front bumper which adds an elegant body styling to the Hyundai County. There’s also a fog lamp at the front bumper which helps to provide additional illumination especially during the raining period and when fog happens, thereby, ensuring safety is guaranteed. Also, the rear bumper is made up of steel and designed in such a way that it has a soft look and blends with the overall design.

In most cases, tinted glass is used to cover the exterior top view and in other cases, the glasses are plain thereby allowing passengers to see the outside clearly. The painted glass is used to provide a thematic continuity between the side glass and rear section.

The Hyundai County has three doors. Two are located on the left and right side of the driver’s section, and the third one is located at the middle of the passenger cabin section. In addition, a standard Hyundai County bus has a length of 7,080 mm, width of 2,035 mm and height of 2,630 mm or 2,755 mm (depending on the individual vehicle).

Interior

The Hyundai County is not a sports car or a luxury car hence you wouldn’t expect it to have a sophisticated, luxurious interior design.

However, the County has a roomy cabin which provides great comfort to the passenger. This cabin is wider and taller making sure the passenger no matter how tall does not hit their head on the roof of the cabin. It’s also wide enough so that it can accommodate relatively large people.

The seats are made of wool which have a great elegance that matches the county design beauty. The Driver seat is a bucket type and is automatically adjustable providing lower back support to the driver as this helps to keep the driver alert and the lumbar support helps to greatly reduce drivers fatigue in case of long trips. Over each passenger seat is an air conditioning louver that can be easily controlled to each passenger’s taste and desire.

Also included in the interior is a H-420 audio system with high fidelity 5.25 inches speakers which are delivered in a concert hall-like manner across the cabin ensuring everyone hears properly.

Hyundai County Engine

The Hyundai County minibus has a 3.9-liter four cylinder engine. Although diesel and gasoline powered engines were produced the gasoline is the most common one.

The engine has a power of 120 hp and delivers a torque of 30.0 kg-m at 3,200 rpm which can make the acceleration go from 0 to100 km/h in 13.3 seconds.

It also has a five (5) forward and one (1) reserve speed manual transmission and also uses a direct injection incase of a diesel engine.

On average, the Hyundai uses 7.8 km/l fuel when on top speed.

The Hyundai County auction price is said to be between $6,000 to $12,700. Although this is dependent on the millage and bus usage condition when buying a used one.
