Great craft beer/bar food in HCM + menu pics | Trip.com Ho Chi Minh City Travelogues
Pasteur Street Brewing Co https://goo.gl/maps/woCaCov4Zi9nuiFaA Rating 8/10. We will be back! (menu photos included). Check this out if you’re in HCM and in the mood for a cosy craft beer joint with good bar snacks. Why we went Ho Chi Minh is known for their “bia hois” where you can get really cheap beer and peanuts along the street. on a hot summer’s day during a vacation we decided to give a go at a highly rated craft beer cafe/bar and it did not disappoint! Originally planned for an hour or so but ended up staying 3 hours. Getting there It isn’t exactly easy to find even on google maps as it is not in the ground floor and you have to walk up the stairs. Once you see the sign and the lights in the cover pic, you know you’ve found it. (Lights don’t come on till around 7pm). The food and drink The prices are definitely higher but the beers are of much higher quality than other craft beer joints. We had their sampler set of 6 beers and then went on to order the ones we wanted. We loved the Stout and the IPA and ordered more. Off the limited food menu, the chicken burger and fried chicken wings which we had were yummy and complemented our beers well. The crowd and ambience and service Surprisingly there were more local Vietnamese than tourists there. The decor is modern industrial with warm lighting but enough light to see what you’re eating! Service was friendly and efficient. #saigon
