One solution is the General Electric (GE) high-efficiency 9HA gas turbine, which uses less gas-per-megawatt than any other turbine in the market. Since it was introduced, GE’s world-class HA technology has been shipped to 12 countries worldwide.

With energy demands growing rapidly, Vietnam is optimising electricity generation to ensure its power-hungry industries stay on the grid. The Vietnamese government expects the electricity demand to reach 360 billion kWh in 2020, compared to a projected 210 kWh in 2015. In line with the rising demand, total investment for the power sector is estimated to reach $48.8 billion in 2020 and nearly $75 billion in the period from 2021 to 2030.
