Flight review: Vietnam Airlines 787 Dreamliner Business Class
The dining
The menu has some great options, offering a choice of two starters and four mains. Australian-Vietnamese celebrity chef Luke Nguyen partnered with the airline in 2018 to create eight dishes for Business Class passengers, showcasing the flavours of Vietnam. If you’re looking for an authentic breakfast, try the pho bo, Hanoi’s hearty beef noodle soup.
The entertainment
The screens are large – 39 centimetres – and the Lotustar system has a bevy of viewing options, including 94 movies.
The lounge
Although there is no dedicated Lotus Lounge at Sydney Airport, Vietnam Airlines passengers have access to the SkyTeam Lounge, the joint endeavour for members of SkyTeam Alliance.
