Electric Currant is an unique plant that is unlocked in 16-5. He creates electrical fences between other Electric Currants planted on the same row or column while also dealing melee damage to zombies that approach him.

Strategies
Electric currant is much stronger than in vanilla with the huge attack speed buff and the infinite Chicken zap ability. This plant acts similarly to Spikeweed and Spikerock, but two or more must be linked together to work. Electric Currants pair well with Sweet Potato, Hot Date or Garlic, as they can keep the zombies away from Electric Currants. The Electric Currants should be planted in the upper and lower lanes to deal damage to all lanes possible. Defensive plants should be planted on the column left of the fence to prevent zombies from escaping the fences. Additionally, using slowing plants can extend the duration zombies are within the electrical fences.
Electric Currant also has a small melee attack. This is a weak attack but should be noted, as it can be used as a way to counter Zombie Chickens and Ice Weasel or do some extra damage before being eaten. It can also affect flying zombies.
