Requirements

1. Require local administrator rights and after installation the “Change” rights in all EPLAN directories.

2. Require internet connection to request for validation code during installation process. A dialog box will be opened for you to register your valid particulars and receive the code.

Operating Systems

The EPLAN platform supports the 64-bit variants of the Microsoft operating systems Windows 7, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10. 
The EPLAN language installed must be supported by the operating system.

EPLAN software does not work with click-to-run applications, such as Microsoft Office 365.

The EPLAN platform has been cleared for the following operating systems:

Workstation

• Microsoft Windows 7 SP1 (64 bit) Professional, Enterprise, Ultimate

• Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64 bit) Pro, Enterprise

• Microsoft Windows 10 (64 bit) Pro, Enterprise

Microsoft products

Prerequisite for the creation of Microsoft Office file formats from EPLAN is a functioning installation of an Office version as approved by EPLAN on the PC.

• Microsoft Office 2010 (64-bit)*

• Microsoft Office 2013 (64-bit)*

• Microsoft Office 2016 (64-bit)*

*If your Microsoft office is 32 bits, you are required to install SQL with 64 bits platform.

SQL Server (64-bit)

• Microsoft SQL Server 2012

• Microsoft SQL Server 2014

• Microsoft SQL Server 2016

Note:
1. Unzip folder before attempting to install.

2. Refer to “EPLAN 2.7 Trial Register Installation” file for steps to install and register for validation code.

3. Validation code will then be emailed to request with complete and valid contact information.
