Becoming an entrepreneur or business person is always a dream for many individuals. Looking at their journey is always insightful for me, as my long-term goal is to start a business.

Who this person is?

Now, I’m going to talk about the person whom I always look up to is Ratan Tata, chairman of the Tata group of companies. 

How do you know this person?

When I was in the final year of my undergraduate studies, I came to know that there are many top companies visiting for campus placement, one such company is TCS. For the interview preparation, I researched the company’s history and business journey and that’s how I came to know about Ratan Tata more as a business person.

What kind of business this person does?

Ratan Tata the chairman of Tata group owned nearly 100 companies in various sectors such as information technology, services, engineering, chemical, consumer products, and energy.

Why do you admire this person?

I admire Ratan Tata for his humbleness and he is a philanthropist, as he is involved in contributing to charitable organizations, and for the development of India. His group of companies helps undergraduate students from India by offering scholarships. His company’s employees enjoy a sophisticated work environment and also get plenty of benefits like maternity leave, medical facilities, and others.

The person I really want to talk about is Bill Gates. He is a businessman, software developer, author, and philanthropist.

How do you know this person?

As a computer science student and a user of Microsoft products MS Word, Excel, and Powerpoint, I was pretty much aware of his name in my school days. I had a chance to know his business journey in one of the documentaries that focused on the founders of Microsoft, Bill Gates, and Paul Allen.

What kind of business this person does?

Bill Gates is a co-founder of Microsoft and the creator of a famous operating system. Microsoft is a multinational tech company that offers software services, consumer electronics, and personal computers. 

Why do you admire this person?

I admire Bill Gates for the contributions he made to the world. I adore the speeches he has given for his Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Through the foundation, he donated billions of dollars to social welfare in India and other countries. This made me see him as a respectful person. Also, as an admirer of the businesses I look up the struggles and the growth he made in his business. 

Conclusion

Being in the industry for years and making a remarkable mark in businesses and society is not that easy, doing so makes Bill Gates a business magnate, I guess.

Mukesh Ambani is the Chairman and Managing Director of Reliance Industries. Reliance has three sectors such as retail, digital services, and oil and petrochemicals.

Why do you admire this person?

I admire Mukesh Ambani as a businessperson. His innovative creation of products, marketing strategies to attract customers, and employment opportunities, inspire me to kick-start my business. His growth in various industries grabs everyone’s attention not only in India but also in other parts of the world.
