How do I connect my Marantz AV/AVR to a network?

Your AV/AVR can be connected to a network using a wired LAN (Ethernet cable) connection or via wireless (Wi-Fi) communication. 

Here, we will explain how to connect your AV/AVR to a Wi-Fi network.

(Please refer to your Owner’s Manual for Wired – Ethernet connection).

 

You can connect your AVR to a Wi-Fi network in four different ways:

 

  • Scanning Network (DHCP)

  • Using your iOS device

  • Using WPS Router

  • Manually (Static IP)

Note:

This procedure only covers the

“Scanning Network”

method

(Please refer to your Owner’s Manual for the other methods of Wi-Fi connection).

 

Preparation:

  • Make sure the external Wi-Fi/Bluetooth antennas are connected on the rear panel and oriented in their full upright position. 
  • Make sure your AVR is connected to a TV via HDMI cable.
  • Turn on your AVR.

Procedure:

  1. Press the “Setup” button on the remote control.
  2. Select “Network” from the menu.
  3. Then, select “Connection” followed by “Wi-Fi Setup”.
  4. You can now select “Scan Network” from the menu’s options.
  5. Select the network you wish to connect to from the list and follow the prompts.
