Cheap Plant Pots Are Always a Good Idea

There are home goods you should never skimp on—quality mattresses, well made sheets, good lighting—but luckily, cheap plant pots are not one of them. You don’t have to break the bank to add your treasured house plants to a planter that does justice to your oxygen-boosting treasures. Plants thrive in the wild and, to our delight, they flourish in cheap planters too.

“Inexpensive planters can come in a variety of forms and materials,” says Brittney Levine, Marshalls shopping expert. “I’ve found that terra-cotta or metal are the sturdiest, while also still having an aesthetically pleasing look to them. However, planters made of solid materials, like plastic, metal, and wood-based are definitely more shatterproof and durable than others made of materials like terra-cotta and ceramic.”

For under $35, we’ve found outdoor planters and indoor plant pots to elevate your home decor on a budget.
