“We were informed our flight was not to land in Haneda but at Narita. We specifically picked that flight pattern because of the ease of traveling from Hawaii to Haneda to Naha. We wouldn’t have to drag two large suitcases and a rollaboard after checking out of customs and immigration very far. Same airport to land and depart. Well the arrival airport was changed to Narita $32.00 per person for Airport Limobus to Haneda. We get off at Haneda and are informed we cannot stay there and wait at the domestic airport for our 6:25 am flight to Naha. We had to load all 6 pieces of luggage on the shuttle bus and transfer to the international terminal because they close the domestic terminal at midnight. There was no hotel accommodations at the domestic airport as the hotel was booked two months in advance!!! We had to wait at the international airport terminal till 4:30 am when we then transferred back to the domestic terminal with our 6 pieces of luggage. Tell me how happy you’d be!!!”

“4 hrs delay due to failure of Singapore Airlines to have a working plane on site at the appointed time. Even worse: chaotic deplaning with one crew member telling passengers to deplane and another yelling at them in the bridge for doing so. A mess of lines trying to get a new boarding pass for a rebooked missed connection—at the front of the line the agent said oh, you need to wait in this other line. Agents had no clue where to direct passengers and gave incorrect directions that necessitated more waiting. No updates to new flight time in the business class lounge. Once the flight was in the air, service was terrible. Attendants would ask for orders, then never bring them or bring the wrong thing.”

They constantly feed u & alcoholic beverages all at no extra charge. Flight attendants always have a smile on their flight. In flight entertainment was great, touch screen and remote controller. They supply earbuds, socks, toothbrush and paste.”

When I asked, I was told that none were available. The check in person was not pleasant or helpful. I also had to watch to make sure that the luggage labels were attached to be sure that they would make it to Chicago. Once on the plane there was an unrudy boy sitting in front of us jumping in his seat, never wearing his seat belt kicking the seat, turning on the light beating on the tray table, calling the flight attendant. The adult ignored the child through the flight. It was one of the worse experiences I have had on a plane. I would have to think very hard before I fly Qatar again.”
