Business Analytics (CERT)

The 21-credit Graduate Certificate in Business Analytics is designed to provide advanced coursework and experiential learning opportunities to students interested in careers that involve the application of statistical modeling, data warehousing, data mining, programming, forecasting and operations research techniques to the analysis of problems of business organization and performance.

This certificate is targeted at three types of professionals:

• Managers seeking to expand the use of data analytics within their organizations.
• Information Systems professionals charged with marshaling available organizational data for analytical processes.
• Business Analytics professionals performing data analysis to support decision making, strategy formation and operational improvement.

The Graduate Certificate in Business Analytics may be completed in 1-2 years—depending on start term and possible prerequisites depending on experience and prior academics—and may be done in conjunction with a concurrent graduate degree or on its own as a standalone certificate.
