Bachelor of Science in Business Information Technology

The Bachelor of Science in Business Information Technology provides you with a strong business foundation in the same accounting, economics, management and marketing courses required by all majors in the Willie A. Deese College of Business and Economics. As a Business Information Technology student, you will also enroll in technical courses such as advanced computer applications, business information systems and management technology. The broad-based skill set of our graduates makes them suitable for a variety of roles in management of IT infrastructures and other related areas, enabling them to make holistic IT decisions.

Students who were admitted prior to Fall 2015 should refer to the curriculum guide they were given during their orientation or contact the Department Office to receive a copy of the guide that will be used to clear them for graduation. Students’ matriculation plans are specific to the date they were admitted to the program. 

Transfer students should contact the Department Chairperson to determine how their coursework will transfer and which curriculum guide will best match their academic needs.
