BEST Budget PC Cases In 2023 – Tech4Gamers

Cases are essential for building a PC. They not only enhance the aesthetics of your builds, but are also responsible for housing all the components of the build, providing functionalities, and keeping your system cool. There are many high-end and premium cases with all the features you can imagine, top-of-the-line aesthetics, and build qualities, but they don’t fall inside everyone’s budget.

Most gamers, casual users, PC enthusiasts, or performance-centered PC builders tend to go towards affordable budget PC cases that fulfill their needs and desires. Going for the budget options helps them focus fully on the hardware stuff but looking for the Best Budget PC Case fitting your requirements can be hard to find. But don’t worry, we’ve got a surprise for you!

It becomes strenuous to choose a budget case, as manufacturers tend to leave many features and cut corners making affordability for everyone. On the other hand, the market is stuffed with budget PC cases, some better than others, offering more value for money.

Fortunately, spending less money doesn’t mean you cannot buy a case with good airflow and cool aesthetics; the art is maintaining the balance. The form factor, airflow, design, and compatibility are just a few factors to consider while buying a PC case. Considering numerous variables that need to be considered, we have drafted a list containing multiple Budget PC Cases helping you decide which one fits best. While you are here, also go through Best Budget CPU Coolers.

What Are Budget PC Cases

Most budget PC cases tend to provide excellent value, with decent airflow and cooling. If you are someone on a tight budget, a budget PC case should be perfect for you to house all your components in. The number of budget PC cases available makes it easier to find one that meets all your requirements.

While compromising on a PC case is not recommended, opting for a budget PC case can help reduce the overall cost of your build significantly. However, you will have to sacrifice a few things when going with a Budget PC case.

With Budget Cases, companies tend to compromise on a few things such as the case’s aesthetic; budget PC cases might not feature the most aesthetically pleasing designs; however, some cases might be an exception.

In addition, Budget Cases also compromise the overall build quality of the case. While the build quality should be enough for normal use, expecting premium build quality from such an affordable case should be completely out of the question.

Overall, Budget PC cases are great for beginners looking to build their first system without spending a ton of money. They offer solid performance while also not breaking the bank. Fortunately, there are also several options to choose from.

Best Budget PC Case

Once you set out in the search for the best chassis for your ultimate build, you will find gazillion types of PC cases from worst to best, each having its perks, and while the best ones may cost more than a beastly CPU, there is also a wide range of affordable PC cases for you to choose from. These provide fairly good specifications for the price without being too heavy on your wallet.

Choosing the ideal PC case is essential since it determines your PC’s identity, forming its aesthetics and what it can fit, the noise levels in your room, and the cooling capacity of your setup. You can get one of the best Mini-ITX cases to reduce the size of your system and put it on your desk beside the display or a gigantic chassis to hold a sizable workstation with plenty of expansion options.

Looks are not everything that matters in a PC case. Before putting appearances first, you must decide on the motherboard, graphics card, cooler, storage, and other critical factors; this will form the basis of what size PC case you will need.

Only exceptional cases are not capable of good cooling potential and airflow; you can also get that luxury in budget cases. Even though certain cases could tempt you with their magnificent aesthetics, the truth is that you’ll be able to create a more efficient and powerful system if you spend as little money on your case as possible. You can use the savings to purchase other, more crucial parts like your processor, graphics card, and motherboard.

We’ve compiled a list of the 7 Best Budget PC Cases from the plethora of cases we have reviewed and tested in the past. One of these cases should keep your content for many years as long as you ensure the components you want to utilize will fit, and you like how it looks.

DeepCool may not be as big of a name as MSI and Corsair, but their innovative, feature-rich, and budget-friendly products have proved to be no less than them. As hinted by the name, Deepcool is mostly known for its amazing CPU coolers, including air, liquid, and laptop coolers. But DeepCool is not just limited to coolers; they also manufacture top-notch PC cases that offer aesthetics and play a part in maintaining the thermals of your dream build. The DeepCool CK560 WH is one of those cases, and this time we will bring it under the microscope and see what makes it the Best Budget PC Case.

You can check out our in-depth review of the DeepCool CK560 WH, but here’s a quick summary of all its amazing features.

First of all, let’s look at the compatibility of the case; on top of the ATX, Micro ATX, and mini-ITX, it even supports the E-ATX motherboards, so you can stop worrying about compatibility at all. Being more than 18 inches tall and 17 inches long, the DeepCool CK560 has a wide and spacious interior that gives you the flexibility of different configurations and meets the needs of any setup. With so much available space, you can house a GPU of up to 380mm; most GPUs are much smaller, so you won’t have a problem. Moreover, a CPU cooler up to 175 mm in height can easily fit the case to keep the CPU temperature under strict control.

Let’s just get one thing straight; the DeepCool CK560 WH is a really good-looking case; it features tempered glass panels on the side that look great with a beefy GPU and let you completely show off your monstrous build. Moreover, the front of the case introduces a patterned front panel that enhances the case’s aesthetics and offers ample airflow for a better cooling potential. The solid steel panel is magnetically attached to the case for quick release and easier access to the front fans. The steel body and tempered glass panel speak for the sturdy and premium build quality of the CK560 WH.

DeepCool impresses us with the CK560 by including four powerful pre-installed fans, three of which are 120mm for use on the front, and the fourth one is 140mm for the rear. The 3x 120mm fans support ARGB lights that you can easily customize with either preset lighting effects or through a 5V header for motherboard synchronization. The rear 140mm fan does not feature RGB lights but helps optimize the airflow for lower temperatures while keeping the fan’s noise at the bare minimum.

The DeepCool CK560 WH has an excellent cooling capacity with the ability to hold up to 6x 120mm or 5x 140mm cooling fans and liquid cooling support for 280 or 360mm radiators along the front panel and 280 or 240mm radiators on the top panel.

The CK560 offers a convenient storage option and contains space for four drives; 2x 2.5 inches SSDs mount directly onto the motherboard tray, while the 2x 3.5 inches HDDs are installed on a toolless tray design for easy installation. In addition, the front I/O panel features two USB 3.0 ports, one USB 3.1 Type-C port, a combination audio jack for mic/audio, and a dedicated button for controlling RGB lights.

DeepCool implemented numerous small features in the CK560 that greatly enhance the overall user experience. Three magnetic dust filters are located in the front, top, and bottom to protect you from any dust or debris and can be quickly released for cleaning. There’s also a GPU anti-sag bracket that you can put in two locations to support the weight of bulky GPUs. DeepCool also left sufficient room behind the motherboard tray for convenient cable management.

What we liked

The DeepCool CK560 is packed with many amazing and attractive features at an amazing price tag of around 105$; you can see such features in expensive and premium PC cases. DeepCool designed this case with great consideration; the patterned panel in the front provides amazing airflow and helps keep the thermals as low as possible. It’s generous of DeepCool to include 4x top-tier fans along with the CK560, which makes us want to buy it right away. If you are looking for the Best Budget PC Case for around $100, we can easily recommend the DeepCool CK560 WH.

What we disliked

DeepCool tries to pull all the strings with the CK560 WH, but there are a few things that they could make better. The filters are made out of nylon mesh and are not very durable, which puts a question on their lifespan; perhaps DeepCool should have chosen better materials for the dust filters.

What Sets the DeepCool CK560 WH Apart from Its Competitors?

You will not find many brands that offer 4x pre-installed fans with their PC cases, but DeepCool does just that for their CK560 WH. You would not have to buy additional fans, but as the case has space for 6x fans, you can install two of your fans, thus saving you from spending extra on fans. On top of that, CK560’s amazing aesthetics easily makes it stand out from the crowd.

Verdict

The overall build quality of CK560 is quite good, and this is one of the most pleasing PC cases we set our eyes on. The DeepCool has made a solid point with the CK560 through its bundle of features and unrestricted airflow. At this price, it is one heck of a PC case for any build, which we can easily recommend as the Best Budget White PC Case.

Corsair, with time, has set up deep roots in the world of PC components and gaming. It is a chart-topping and easily recognizable brand, especially by gamers. Corsair has a variety of products under its hood, including keyboards, mice, fans, Air Coolers comprising AIO, and gamers’ favorite; RGB lights; you name it, Corsair has it. They are a go-to choice for PC builders as all of their product lineups are of superb quality and fulfill customers’ expectations. Along with many jewels up its crown, Corsair excels at designing and manufacturing PC cases. Various PC cases are targeted at different audiences, including professionals, gamers, and casual users.

Our first candidate for the Best Budget PC Case is Corsair 4000D Airflow. At the time of writing, it is selling at $95, and with the features it provides, Corsair 4000D Airflow is worth a look. It is a mid-tower PC case with a height of 466 mm or 18.35 inches. As suggested by the name, Corsair 4000D is designed with airflow engineering in mind; the front panel is perforated with a triangular grid that not only looks good but also provides better ventilation for maximum airflow.

Corsair 4000D comes with two pre-mounted 120 mm AirGuide fans, one on the front and one on the back, whereas the front panel can be removed to expose the pre-installed 120mm fan. The 4000D is very roomy and can accommodate two radiators for water cooling: a 360 mm in the front and a 280 mm on the roof.

Corsair 4000D can fit an ATX motherboard or smaller as a mid-tower case. Additionally, its GPU clearance of 360mm can easily fit even the monstrous GPUs inside. Behind the motherboard lies two 2.5 inches SSD trays and two 3.5 inches drive bays for HDDs helping in storage expansion. On top of that, SSD trays are relocatable and can be moved to the front PSU cover. The 4000D also has a built-in cable management system with 25mm space behind the motherboard. All your cables can be routed from there, making a clean-looking build effortless. This case beast is ample and has enough ports and slots for possible future expansions and upgrades.

Regarding the build quality, Corsair 4000D is pretty sturdy in terms of product quality and knows how to build the Best Budget PC Case. The case materials comprise plastic and steel, which feels solid. With a tempered glass panel on the left side of the case, the RGB lighting can take advantage of these see-through panels, adding elegance and coolness to your rig. Moreover, the case AIOs and air coolers with a maximum height of 170mm make up some of the largest air coolers on the market. Corsair 4000D also has vertical PCIe slots and screw mounts for vertical GPU layout, thus showing off your setup while keeping it secure.

What we liked

Building a PC can be a difficult task, but Corsair has designed the 4000D so that the installation of components is effortless, even for beginners. The main highlight of Corsair 4000D is its airflow which does an excellent job in maintaining the PC thermals. The built-in cable management system and Velcro ties make cable management easier than ever, and your setup will never look messy again. Corsair 4000D looks stunning with a sprinkle of RGB on top, thanks to the glass side panel and vertical GPU configuration.

What we disliked

Nothing is perfect; Everything comes with its flaws. The same goes for the Best Budget Airflow PC Case for cooling. Although the pre-installed fans that come with Corsair 4000D are anti-vortex which provides great airflow, they are 3-pin fans rather than PWM making it difficult to control the fan’s speed, as 3-pin fans only control the voltage, and voltage cannot change the fan’s RPM as accurate as a PWM fan. Also, the white version of Corsair 4000D looks stunning, but the black version has a heavily tinted glass side panel, which may look good in a black theme, but diminishes its aesthetics in other themes.

Here is what the White Version of the Corsair 400D Budget Case looks like. Make sure you also check out White CPU Coolers.

Corsair 400D WhiteCorsair 400D White

What Sets the Corsair 4000D Apart from Its Competitors?

Corsair 4000D airflow makes it stand out from the crowd. With a rise in airflow cases for better thermal management, Corsair 4000D is one of the best options in the category. Corsair 4000D is a Budget PC Case With Good Airflow; having perforations on the inside and outside of the case and magnetic dust filters present throughout the case, its airflow delivers more than its price range.

Verdict

Corsair 4000D is a value-for-money PC case with a spacious interior and fabulous exterior; it does everything you would expect from a case comprising this price range. Cable management in Corsair 4000 is pretty simple such that this type of cable management should be made standard in all PC cases. There are no second opinions in naming the Corsair 4000D Airflow as the Best Budget Airflow PC Case.

The NX800 has a GPU clearance of 350mm, enough for most GPUs available in the market. There are also 3x vertical expansion slots for installing GPUs vertically, so CPU and GPU compatibility is not a concern for NX800. Moreover, the Antec has left a 1-inch space on the other side of the chassis and includes Velcro and zip ties with the case for convenient cable management, so everything looks tidy and beautiful.

Antec NX800 also comes with 4x 2.5inches drive bays for SSD and 3x 3.5 inches drive bays for HDD; one of the HDD drive bays is convertible and can utilize an additional SSD. Antec NX800 can fit up to 3 radiators; on the front side, it can fit up to 360mm radiator, up to 280mm on the roof, and up to 140mm on the rear end. Antec has packed so many features in such a compact but spacious chassis at a stealing price of just $115.

Antec NX800 BuildAntec NX800 Build

A budget PC case has to cut corners, to include more important features that users demand; the same goes for NX800. The case lacks a USB Type-C port on the I/O panel, raising issues for some people. Also, the fans do not have PWM control, and the front panel lacks dust filters; with time, dust can collect on it. Aside from that, Antec NX800 is a solid case with great aesthetics and sturdy materials.

You can check out our detailed Antec NX800 Review for in-depth specifications and testing.

What we liked

The overall build quality of the NX800 is admirable, and the case is majorly built with plastic and SPCC steel. The front mesh panel keeps the PC cool, thanks to the great airflow it provides. The inclusion of 3 fans with the NX800 makes it very attractive for customers, as they do not have to spend more money on separate fans. On top of that, RGB lighting in these fans looks great, and along with a convenient color changing button directly on the case, the NX800 becomes the Best Budget PC Case. Also, the interior is also very spacious, providing more flexibility to the customer.

What we disliked

Although the fans that come with the NX800 look stunning and help maintain the PC thermals, it would have been better if these fans supported PWM control. Moreover, Antec also omitted the USB Type-C port from NX800, which is somewhat displeasing.

What Sets the Antec NX800 Apart from Its Competitors?

Antec did a great job with the NX800. There are not many mid-tower cases in the market that can fit an E-ATX motherboard, but the NX800 can. Two of the included fans are 200mm and work like a charm; they displace a lot of air even at slow speeds. The inclusion of three fans gives NX800 an edge over its competitors.

Verdict

The Antec NX800 offers great value with its attractive price. Great build quality, decent airflow, sleek aesthetics, spacious interior, CPU and GPU compatibility, a lot of drive bays, and three included A-RGB fans with an affordable price tag make the NX800 very hard to resist. We certainly recommend the Antec NX800 as the Best Budget PC Case with RGB Fans considering its admirable traits.

MSI is one of the biggest giants available, producing competitive grade product lineups, including Laptops, GPUs, Motherboards, PC Cases, and multiple premium quality peripherals. On top of that, MSI also develops different software for monitoring and controlling hardware performance. MSI is trusted in esports and sponsors many teams with their products.

MSI manufactures a wide range of premium PC cases in value for money price, each unique. We will have an in-depth peek at MSI MPG Series GUNGNIR 110R. Although MSI may have a weird naming convention with some of its products, they know how to build the Best Budget PC Case.

For just $100, MSI has provided its customer with a feature-rich budget PC case. GUNGNIR 110R is a stunning PC case with a tempered glass side panel revealing your arsenal. The front panel is triangular, the half of which is solid metal, and the other half is made of a tempered glass panel, offering a dazzling view of the interior lighting. The top and bottom of the front panel have small holes for airflow, but the dust filter behind the panel restricts the airflow. Moreover, the 4mm thick glass panel ensures window durability. The case is strong and sturdy, constructed from high-quality materials. MSI includes four of its top-of-the-line MAG MAX F12A fans with the GUNGIR 110R package. Additionally, these fans feature anti-vibration motors, swept vanes, a 3-pin connector for RGB control, and a 4-pin PWM connector for efficient control over the fan’s RPM with a maximum RPM of 1500.

The top I/O panel has 2x USB 3.2 ports, 1x Type-C port, a headphone jack, a microphone jack, and an LED loop button for instant access to control the fan’s RGB lights. Moreover, the top panel also has a magnetic dust filter for preventing dust from falling inside, while at the same time, you can open it easily for cleaning. The height of GUNGIR 110R is 17.72 inches and is compatible with all ATX motherboards or smaller. Moreover, it has a GPU clearance of 340mm, which can accommodate most of the GPUs in the market. MSI also includes zip ties and Velcro straps for easy cable management. GUNGIR 110R has 2x 2.5 inches drive bays for SSD and 2x 3.5 inches HDD. The HDD drive bays are convertible and can also accommodate SSD storage.

MPG GUNGNIR 110R can fit 6x 120 mm fans or 4x 140mm fans and 2x 120mm fans. Additionally, it can fit a CPU cooler of up to 170mm high, which is enough for most CPU coolers, but some might not fit in this case. Before buying a cooler, you will need to check if it can fit in the GUNGNIR 110R case. On the contrary, it has plenty of room for water cooling; up to a 360mm radiator can easily fit on the front side of the case, a 240mm along the roof, and a 120mm in the rear. Moreover, a simple shroud separates the motherboard compartment from the power supply, providing a channel on the back of the chassis for cable routing, which keeps the things clean in the motherboard compartment.

What we liked

This monstrous case fits all your dreams due to its abundance of features and slick looks. Also, the installation process is very easy with the GUNGNIR 110R, thanks to the small details MSI has put throughout the case. MSI provides zip ties with the GUNGIR 110, and Velcro straps are already attached to the right places where cable management is needed.

What we disliked

MSI thought this case out very well. We looked really hard but could not find any major issues with GUNGNIR 110R. We could only dig up that the dust filters on the front and top side restrict airflow, but it is not a big deal and included fans make up for that as they quite well maintain the thermals.

What Sets the MSI MPG Series GUNGNIR 110R from Its Competitors?

MSI pulled all the strings by including not one, not two, not three, but four fans with the GUNGNIR 110R. There are not many budget PC cases with four pre-installed fans. Additionally, the glass panels on this beast are one of a kind; GUNGNIR 110R not only features a glass panel on the side but half of the front panel is also covered in the tempered glass panel, which gives it a distinctive look, making it the  Best Budget Tempered Glass PC Case. MSI managed to keep the affordable price while packing GUNGNIR 110R with as many features as possible.

Verdict

Basically, MSI GUNGNIR 110R is a sleek-looking case with excellent build quality, and with the RGB lighting, it looks astonishing. Its easy installation makes it suitable for beginners and experienced PC builders. There are also no major issues or any lacking features in the GUNGNIR 110R, and the beautiful 4mm tempered glass side panel makes it the Best Budget Tempered Glass PC Case.

Corsair 110Q can house two 2.5 inches SSDs and two 3.5 inches HDDs and includes a 5.25-inch Optical Disk Drive (ODD) bay on the front of the case.

Corsair 110Q can accommodate up to 4x 120mm fans or 2x 140mm and 1x 120mm fans for adequate PC cooling. The Corsair 110Q comes with a 1x 120mm fan with a 3-pin connector. It can fit up to a 280mm radiator on the front and a 120mm radiator on the back for water cooling. Still, The power supply sits quietly under the motherboard without any shrouds, so the cables from PSU may cause some mess, but it is acceptable as opaque panels and cables will cover the sides, making the cables invisible.

What we liked

Corsair produced the 110Q with something else in mind. They wanted to keep a simple, minimalistic design rather than fancy colors and RGB lights. 110Q is very compact, while at the same time, it is ample enough to accommodate all the necessary components. Corsair did not compromise on the build quality of 110Q and made it with high-quality steel and plastic. On top of that, they managed to keep the price very affordable at just 75$, making it the Best Budget PC Case.

What we disliked

Corsair tried to cut corners at many places to make this case affordable for most users. They did not include a Type-C port on the I/O panel of 110Q, which is necessary for some people. Although the sound dampening materials reduce the noise levels, they come at a cost; lack of perforations means the airflow through the case decreases. Corsair tried to address this issue by including vents on either side of the front panel, but the air from these vents has to pass through a dust filter, and the overall airflow is not so good, affecting thermals. There is no space for mounting the radiator on the top, as the top panel is closed and does not have any perforations, which doesn’t allow air to escape. The Corsair 110Q only comes with a 1x 120mm fan, which is not much considering the price of the case; they should have included at least two or three fans. Additionally, the single included fan also does not have a 4-pin PWM connector, implying that you cannot efficiently control its speed, likely due to cost-cutting by the manufacturer.

What Sets the Corsair 110Q Apart from Its Competitors?

The main highlight of the Corsair 110Q is its ability to reduce the noise levels; this ability is best used in combination with low-noise fans, which makes it silent like an owl’s flight. Most budget PC cases focus on airflow, RGB, and cool aesthetics, resulting in loud fans and GPU noise. Still, Corsair 110Q is designed specifically for those who want to use their PC in a quiet environment, making the Corsair 110Q the Best Budget Silent PC Case.

 Verdict

If you are looking for an affordable PC case with the great build quality and a simple and minimalistic design, the Corsair 110Q is great. While some people may get disappointed with the lack of airflow in 110Q, if it is not a problem for you, we would recommend the Corsair 110Q as the Best Budget Silent PC Case with noise suppression.

Aerocool is a very popular brand, currently one of the market leaders in the gaming industry. The products with stylish, unique, and affordable designs developed by Aerocool are very well received by gamers and PC enthusiasts alike. Aerocool offers a wide range of products like gaming PC cases, PSUs, gaming chairs, CPU air and liquid coolers, PC fans, and more. Aerocool mostly manufactures budget to mid-range products; they have a whole lineup of PC cases falling in multiple prices and quality ranges.

Aerocool Cyclon RGB is a mid-tower PC case with a height of 18.07 inches, just above the standard for mid-tower cases. As the name suggests, Cyclone RGB has built-in RGB lights that run diagonally along the front panel. Its elegantly designed RGB LED panel can display over 13 lighting modes: six RGB flow lighting modes and seven solid color modes, giving the Cyclon a flashy and cool look. The front I/O panel features one USB 3.0 port and two USB 2.0 ports, an HD audio jack, and a microphone. The I/O panel also has a slot for SD Card Reader, which is nice. There is an LED button on top of the front panel for controlling RGB lights. But it lacks a USB Type-C port, which is understandable as the case is very cheap, under $50. Considering the features Aerocool offers at such a price tag, Aerocool Cyclon RGB is the Best Budget PC Case Under $50.

Aerocool also tried to save money on materials, making inexpensive Cyclon RGB’s build quality. Aerocool used a  lot of plastic to build the case, and metallic parts are also very thin. However, this is not surprising, as, for a chassis in this price range, it is not likely to have super thick metal plates as that would have raised the cost substantially. The transparent side panel is also made up of an acrylic panel instead of a tempered glass panel, which can attract a lot of scratches over time.

Aerocool Cyclon can fit up to 5x 120mm fans, out of which only one fan is included and preinstalled on the back; three more fans can be mounted on the front and a single 120mm on the top; there is also enough room to fit most CPU coolers in the market, about 155mm. The Cyclon RGB is compatible with an ATX size motherboard or smaller. Moreover, it has a GPU clearance of 346mm, which is more than enough for most GPUs available. Cyclon RGB also has a PSU shroud where you can keep your power supply and provides a channel on the back of the case to avoid clustering of cables in the motherboard area. The PSU shroud has perforations in two locations which users can use to install two optional 120mm VGA fans for cooling their Graphics Card. Unfortunately, Aerocool Cyclon RGB is mostly suitable for air cooling, as there are few options for water cooling. It can only fit a 120mm radiator on the front, which may not be enough for many people. It has 3x dedicated 2.5’’ drive bays for SSDs and 2x 3.5’’ for HDD, which are also compatible with 2.5’’ SSDs

The Cyclon RGB is lifted from the ground with four legs, one on each case corner. The bottom of the front panel has a cool opening with a triangular design. The bottom of the case also has small perforations to provide airflow, which, combined with perforations on the top panel, provides decent airflow to the whole case. Cyclon RGB also has decent space on the back of the chassis, making cable management simpler and easier. All these qualities make Aerocool Cyclon RGB the Best Budget PC Case.

If you’re interested in this PC Case, have a glance at our detailed review on Aerocool Cylon RGB Review.

What we liked

Aerocool Cyclon RGB is an extremely budget PC case providing mid-range or premium case features. Cyclon provides good cable management, even in this price bracket, which shows the importance of cable management, especially in a see-through case like this. Moreover, it has a spacious interior and can accommodate seven fans, including 2 VGA fans. It also offers a lot of drive bays, so storage will not be a concern.

What we disliked

To keep the price under $50, Aerocool had to make some tough choices. They could not include a USB Type-C port with the Cyclone RGB. Aerocool compromised on the build quality, as it feels very thin, plasticky, and economical. Moreover, Cyclon RGB only comes with one fan, but Aerocool should have included at least two fans at this price. These flaws may be a turn-off for some people, but they do not affect the performance of the Cyclon RGB.

What Sets the Aerocool Cyclon RGB Apart from Its Competitors?

Aerocool Cyclon offers so much in such an amazing way. Its price, combined with its features, makes it stand out from the competition. There are high-end cases that perform much better than Aerocool Cyclon, but Cyclone is a beast of a case at this price range.

Verdict

Aerocool’s Cyclon is an entry-level mid-tower gaming case compact yet large enough to hold a well-built gaming PC. Aerocool Cyclon RGB offers cool aesthetics, RGB lighting, and plenty of features under the $50 price tag. If you don’t think that a $50 PC case can perform well, this case will change your mind, and we would recommend it as the Best Budget PC Case under $50.

For people who want a compact case in a small size that can easily sit on a desk, Cooler Master has come up with NR200P SFF, the Best Budget Mini-ITX PC Case contender on our list.

The Cooler master NR200P is the most expensive among other cases on this list, at $130, but it justifies its price with its features. The NR200P  is a sleek-looking compact case in a small form factor, with a height of just 11.5 inches, making it easily fit on any desk beside your monitor. NR200P is available in two minimalistic colors, black and white, and four flashy colors; blue, pink, orange, and purple, giving users many options. The design and build quality of NR200P is magnificent; manufactured with high-quality industrial-grade SPCC steel with a thick powder coating, customers can order the Cooler master NR200P, either with a highly ventilated metallic side panel to keep everything cool or a tempered glass side panel to look cool.

Here is how the Black Version of Cooler Master NR200P looks – incredible.

Cooler Master NR200P SFFCooler Master NR200P SFF

Being a small form factor PC case, the Cooler Master NR200P is compatible with mini-ITX and Mini-DTX motherboards. Surprisingly, it has a GPU clearance of 330mm, fitting the largest, high-end graphic cards. Cooler Master also includes a riser cable with NR200P for vertical GPU configuration for those who want to showcase it with the tempered glass side panel. Cooler Master did a wonderful job designing the case; it can be accessed from all angles. Every panel and frame comes apart without any tools, making installation and accessibility easy and hassle-free.

The NR200P has unlimited cooling potential, with room to fit up to 7x 120mm fans in such a small chassis, two of which are included with the case. The included fans are Cooler Master’s very own SickleFlow fans, which can spin as fast as 1800 RPM, and their speed can be easily adjusted with PWM control. The Cooler Master NR200P can house a CPU cooler having a height of 155mm and a radiator of 280mm length on the side of the chassis. Cooler Master recommends a 240mm GPU on the bottom of the chassis for custom loops water cooling only. You can also install a 92mm radiator on the rear of the case.

The top I/O panel includes 2x USB 3.2 Type-A ports, a headphone, and a microphone jack, but there is no Type-C port. There is room for three 2.5’’ drive bays to fit SSDs, two 3.5’’ drive bays for HDDs, two 2.5’’ and one 3.5’’.

What we liked

Cooler Master NR200P is a well-built case with excellent airflow and ventilation. It has a lot of cooling potential for even the hottest running hardware. The design and build quality are also very great. Moreover, there are many vibrant and minimalistic color options for users.

What we disliked

We only disliked this case because there was no USB Type-C port on the front panel; this seems more like a choice by Cooler Master to reduce costs rather than a flaw, but it may cause some issues for people who need it. Cooler Master should have included more drive bays for storage expansion, but two 2.5’’ and one 3.5’’ are enough for most people.

What Sets the Cooler Master NR200P Apart from Its Competitors?

Cooler master put a lot of thought into the NR200P. For a mini-ITX case, NR200P is relatively easy to build in compared to other mini-ITX cases. It provides enough room for the users to be compatible with as many components as possible. Vertical GPU configuration in a mini-ITX case is a nice touch.

Verdict

With a beautiful design and sturdy chassis, NR200P is an exceptional case. It has many features in a very small package that can easily rest on any desk. Moreover, it cleverly utilizes space-saving measures, taking up less than half the volume. We would surely recommend it as the Best Budget Mini-ITX PC Case.

Our Criteria For Selecting the Best Budget PC Case

Compiling a list of Best Budget PC Cases isn’t an easy job. We had to consider several factors in a PC case. Meeting every factor is essential as it becomes a viable option for you to purchase. We take into account some things when choosing the Budget PC Case. This guide will also help you decide on an ideal PC case that suits your needs.

Compatibility

Firstly, compatibility is the most important thing to look for in the best budget PC case. It should be compatible with most motherboards and have enough clearance for graphic cards; larger high-end graphic cards can cause clearance issues in some PC cases, and it should also be able to fit a decent size Power Supply. The PC case should be spacious enough to easily fit all other necessary components like fans or radiators, air coolers, or water pumps; if a case is compatible with all these components, it passes our first test.

Airflow and Cooling

Keeping all the components cool is extremely important to avoid any complications or failures, especially for hardware that quickly gets hot. A mid-tower case must have at least two pre-installed fans and space for at least three fans for ideal cooling for most PC cases; you can always buy additional fans separately.

PC cases should have proper ventilation and perforations on case panels to allow the air to pass through the case; these open-air cases often improve overall performance. On the other hand, closed cases offer less noise and a quiet environment, but the fans require a good arrangement for decent airflow.

Aesthetics and Design

Aesthetics are also very important when buying a PC case; nobody wants an ugly-looking case as it ruins the ambiance. Since the rise of white cases, most people now usually find white cases aesthetically pleasing, but it all comes down to personal preference.

We have included both minimalistic and glamorous cases in our list for all types of users. Gamers and PC enthusiasts prefer a stylish case with a tempered glass side panel and RGB lighting to show off their builds. In contrast, professionals prefer a simple yet elegant-looking minimalistic design. Cable management also plays an important role in the aesthetics of a case, especially those with tempered glass panels; easier and better cable management means a tidy and clean look.

Competition

Although you might have read our suggested list of Best Budget PC Case, if they were not what you were looking for, it’s time to look at some other budget PC cases that can fit your needs. Not only that, these cases are honorable mentions you can consider as part of our preliminary list. Let’s look at some competitive options in Budget PC Cases.

Phanteks Eclipse P360A Ultra Budget White CasePhanteks Eclipse P360A Ultra Budget White Case

Specifications: Type: Mid Tower | Colors: Black and White | Motherboard Support: ATX, Micro ATX, Mini-ITX, E-ATX *(up to 280mm wide) | Dimensions:  455 mm x 200 mm x 465 mm | Radiator Support: Up to 280mm | Ports: 2x USB 3.0, 1x headphone, 1x mic| Drive Bays: 3x 2.5-inch, 2x 3.5-inch | Included Fans: 2x 120 mm

Phanteks is a popular brand mostly known for budget-friendly and excellent quality products. Phanteks originally started in the CPU cooling industry, providing its customers with high-end and innovative products in thermal solutions. They recently started manufacturing power supplies, PC building accessories, and PC cases.

Phanteks has a variety of PC cases that cater to different audiences, but Phanteks Eclipse P360A will be under scope considering its traits. As far as the budget-friendly PC cases go, Eclipse P360A is the Best Budget PC Case, and we will tell you why.

The Phanteks Eclipse P360A is an improvement upon the previous generation’s Eclipse P300a; it comes with many additional exciting features that did not exist in the Eclipse P300a. The case comes in two stylish colors; black and white; the white color looks stunning compared to the black color, especially with a minimalistic theme, making it the Best Budget White PC Case.

Phanteks has included two 120mm D-RGB PWM fans in the Eclipse P360A. It is nice of Phanteks to include PWM fans as they are very convenient for speed control, and with the integrated RGB lighting, these fans look stunning and give a premium look to the whole case. The fans are pre-installed behind a mesh front with ultra-fine perforations of 1mm, consequently helping increase the overall airflow of the case. The top of the case also features an I/O panel with 2x USB 3.0 ports, a headphone and microphone jack, a LED mode button, and a LED color button. The RGB lights are integrated into fans, and the case can be conveniently controlled using these buttons without any additional software. If you prefer software for RGB control, that won’t be an issue as these fans can optionally sync with the motherboard and software like MSI mystic light sync.

The Eclipse P360A comes in two colors: black and white, which looks great in all themes with RGB lights. The case is about 17.9 inches tall, making it compatible with the EATX (up to 280mm wide), ATX, and smaller motherboards. Additionally, it has a GPU clearance of 400mm, which can house even the largest GPUs in the market. Phanteks also provides optional GPU vertical brackets for vertical GPU configuration, and with the glass side panel, the whole setup looks remarkable. The P360A contains space for five drive bays: 2x 3.5 inches for HDD that slide in from the front and 2x 2.5 inches for SSD behind the motherboard tray. You can buy an optional third tray and add a 2.5-inch drive to increase your storage capacity, which you won’t need as these drive bays can accommodate a lot of storage for your needs.

To keep the costs at a bare minimum and make the Eclipse P360 a viable option for many customers, Phanteks decided to cut expenses on the materials and omitted noise suppressing materials inside the panels. The build quality feels a little cheap. Aside from that, the Eclipse P360A is very sturdy and compact, with plenty of room inside. The top I/O panel also lacks a USB Type-C port, which can be an issue for some users.

The Eclipse P360A supports up to 4x 140mm or 5x 120mm fans for air cooling, but if you are looking forward to water cooling, you will be happy to hear that this monster of a PC case can fit up to 3 radiators: a 240/280 mm in the front, a 240 on the roof and a 120mm on the back. Cable management in the Eclipse P360A is easy; a simple shroud keeps things looking tidy in the motherboard compartment. A nice routing channel on the back of the motherboard makes cable management clean without any mess.

The Phanteks Eclipse P360A offers many features at a very attractive price. Phanteks did a great job designing this case; the mesh panel in the front provides great airflow and keeps the thermals as low as possible. Moreover, the addition of two D-RGB 120mm PWM fans is great, enhancing the case’s aesthetics and giving customers more control over the fan’s speed.

The Eclipse P360A’s front mesh panel offers good airflow, but it lacks dust filters; over time, dust can accumulate on the front panel, and in white color, you can see the dust easily, but it is very easy to wipe off with a clean cloth, so it’s not a big issue. On the other hand, its lack of a USB Type-C port can be a real issue for some people. Phanteks also has issues with the build quality as they have cut costs, which can be a problem for some premium PC case seekers.

The Phanteks Eclipse P360A offers great value, with a palatial interior, great airflow, and pre-installed RGB fans, making it stand out a lot more. The price of this beast, combined with the stunning looks, makes it one of the Best Looking Budget PC Case.

The Eclipse P360A has a lot going on, an attractive, spacious PC case for gamers and casual users alike, although a few missing features like a USB Type-C port are not a major issue for most users. The Phanteks Eclipse P360A in white color gives a dashing and minimalistic look, making it a treat for elegant setup lovers. These traits help crown Phanteks Eclipse P360A as one the Best Budget White PC cases.
