8 Simple Living Blogs You’ll Love

Our goal at No Sidebar is to help you design a simple life.

We want to help you figure out what’s getting in your way, at home and at work. We want to help you let go of distractions, online and off. We want to help you turn down the noise that disrupts the quiet of your heart and soul.

Along with writing our own content to help spread the message of minimalism, there are a number of other minimalist and simple living blogs out there we truly enjoy reading as well.

Simple Living Blogs

Here are 8 simple living blogs that we love, and think you will too:

1. The Classy Simple Life — www.theclassysimplelife.com

Written by Michelle Summerfield, a fashionista, writer and photographer, this blog is centered around striving for a simpler life. Like many of us, she didn’t set out to become a minimalist, but her life has led her in that direction. Follow along as she records her thoughts, experiments, and failures in simple living, and leads us to a place where happiness and abundance reign supreme.

2. The Minimalist Plate — www.theminimalistplate.com

Meet Zoë Kim, a wife, mom to four, blogger and horticulturist. The Minimalist Plate is about clearing your plate from meaningless distractions and removing the clutter and noise that’s taking our time and energy from pursuing our purpose. She writes about the pursuit of living an intentional life, by owning less, creating new habits, and cultivating opportunities to give.

3. Smallish Blog — www.smallishblog.com/blog

As a longtime favorite of mine, Smallish Blog is written by Eveyln Rennich, who shares her experiences and writes about her attempts to live modestly, frugally, and green. Here you’ll find a genuine and sometimes quirky perspective on living with a small budget, a small footprint, and in a small space.

4. Simple by Victoria — simplebyvictoria.com

Simple by Victoria is written by—you guessed it—Victoria Brauer. Since 2014, she’s been on a mission of simplifying by focusing on the essentials, so she can have more experiences and enjoy a fuller life. Removing the excess in her life has allowed her to find greater peace, love, and happiness. Victoria doesn’t claim to be an expert, but she loves sharing all that she’s learned.

5. Simple Adventure — simpleadventure.ca

Clare Devlin is the creator of Simple Adventure, a blog about her family’s adventures in simplicity, and how a simple life allowed them to have less stuff and more life. Follow their journey as she shares personal experiences, why they strive to live a more simple, meaningful life, and explore the benefits—from her perspective—of being a minimalist.

6. Everthrive — everthrive.org

Founded by Ali Cornish in 2015, Everthrive values simplicity and self-sufficiency. Through blog posts, recipes, and photos, Everthrive shows how to sift through life’s white noise in order to find contentment and clarity—something I believe we all long for. Filled with stories on awareness, intention, gratitude and more, this is a must-read for anyone interested in simple living.

7. Simply Fiercely — www.simplyfiercely.com

Simply Fiercely is written by Jennifer, a traveler, minimalist, and dream chaser. She’s passionate about helping women build lives they love through simple and intentional living. She believes in listening to your heart, doing more of what you love, and letting go of all the rest.

8. Simplicity Relished — simplicityrelished.com

Last, but certainly not least, Simplicity Relished is a blog I just love—plain and simple. Simplicity Relished is where Daisy Rosales shares her minimalist lifestyle and passion for adventure. She believes in paring down, choosing courage, living justly, and traveling often. If you agree that the best things in life aren’t things, grab a cup of coffee and make yourself at home.
