Readers’ Comments
‘I think the book is okay written. But, sorry, I can’t get over the feeling all this cryptocurrency is just a fad and a lot of people are going to get badly burnt. When I read things in the blurb like ‘grow digital gold’ it just sounds all a big con. Also, if I’m going to take advice, I need considerably more info on who’s giving it, not just ‘Cyrus Emerson remains at the forefront of technology driven creative writing with his various publications in a 15 year career.’ I need specifics.’ Male reader, aged 54
‘I think this will be informative to anybody who is interested in this subject. But be warned, ‘It’s hard to call it blatant scam but it’s really a classic pyramid scheme, where the founders and very early adopters are making A LOT of money and the opportunity prospects for everyone else are inflated by perverse financial incentives’. Food for thought!’ Male reader, aged 51
‘So, in this book, there’s lots of info on Steemit writing contests you can enter where you can then win ‘Steem’, a cryptocurrency. Now, I’m new to this but it seems an interesting idea. From Googling, I get the feeling a lot don’t make much cryptocurrency at all. And a few do. But possibly that’s always the way with everything. J K Rowling gets $600,000,000, another author gets $6. I guess why not give it a go, and this book offers a little advice and lots of contests you can enter. I suspect this book will have a short shelf life as subjects like this change drastically from week to week.’ Female reader, aged 28
‘I couldn’t recommend this book to another reader as I’d be concerned they would be ripped off. I just couldn’t find enough information on the author and his credentials. This could be a good money making scheme for writers but, as with all things, you need to get on early or be left behind.’ Male reader, aged 55
‘The blurb reads like a bad advert for a dodgy scam: ‘…helping you grow digital gold’, yeah, right!’ Male reader, aged 44
