Reddit – Dive into anything

So ive ran vmware for over a year now, been running VMs everyday and I have never had this issue until now. So basically, im casually on the internet etc and my router decides to mess about ( My ISP is Virgin Media UK based) idk exactly what happened but my router reset itself ( or it was my ISP doing what they do best and just have shit service tbh) and ever since it reset itself, I cannot connect to the internet on my VM

I run diagnostics through windows and its telling me DHCP is not enabled on vmnet8 – I go to the Vmware Virtual Network Editor and i can clearly see DHCP is enabled. Honestly been googling and trying everything I can for the last hour and I cannot get my VM to connect through bridged adapter or even NAT.

If anyone could please offer advice that’d be great, im so behind on work right now and I need my VM to be up and running with internet otherwise its useless.
