Knowledge and ideas abound to the benefit of the organisation. connections is my default treasure trove for organisation data and manuals for my work unit. It’s within reach at all times as long as you have an authorised account of access. IBM Connections is built around Sharepoint. In my view it is a solidly built sharing and collaboration environment which everyone can benefit from. There are many other sharing enablers integrated into this product which makes communications easier and fluid. These are IBM Lotus notes email, Sametime connections for instant messaging and fie sharing.
